Definitely 2 of the best. BUT....in Jay-Z's case he was very intimidated by DMX's performance when they were on tour together. DMX would have the whole arena chanting his songs going wild one minute, then praying the next minute, then he would break into a full cry and the whole arena would be crying with him. DMX would put on these INCREDIBLE shows, and Jay-Z said he would think to himself how the hell is he supposed to follow that!!! LOL.
People don't realize the importance of this album. It helped reconcile rap and rock fans. To create bridges, to bring together different universes to keep the best of rap and rock. This album is a turning point for culture, putting an end to the war of genres.
Hybrid Theory is still the ONLY album in my 38 years on this planet, which I loved EVERY damn song. R.I.P Chester. Thank you for making my youth great!!

This whole album was part of a show from MTV where they would put two artists from different genres together to make a collab album, this was their first try, they cancelled the show after this because they knew this would never be topped

your IQ level is 150% lower than ALL 2016 rap songs combined. There are MANY great rappers and rap songs, and Jay-Z is not one of them. Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc. are examples of good rappers that make good rap songs, better than ALL of Collision Course. Now don't get me wrong, I am a fan of LP and Jay-Z is not that bad. But this and numb/encore were the only good ones.

Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc. are examples of good rappers that make good rap songs, better than ALL of Collision Course. Now don't get me wrong, I am a fan of LP and Jay-Z is not that bad. But this and numb/encore were the only good ones.
