    Better review than the guy who had this sitting on the table right in front of him & he didn’t even switch it on. This has been a decent review compared to the one I’m referring to.

    Thanks so much for this review. I was curious if this would work with a flat blade and you said no at the end of your video so thank you for that.

    Does it eventually stop working if the filter fills up? How do you know when to clean/swap out the filter?
    Do you basically have to empty it each time you use it?
    I'm trying to compare this to the full-on vacuum version.

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  Рік тому +1

      Yeah it only gets a few holes than you have to dump it out. It’s know ware near as good as a vacuum. It’s just handy for quick jobs

    Thank for the review! Before I buy it I'm wondering, how heavy is it? We use hammer drills to drill holes in ceilings, about 80 a day. I'm worried that the weight is gonna make it more tiresome.

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  Рік тому +2

      If your drilling 80 a day, I might go with a different set up. Not so much because of the weight increase. And it’s not heavy at all. But because of the amount of holes you can drill before you have to empty the cartridge. If I remember correctly it holds about 5 holes worth of dust if you where using a 1/2” bit at 6” deep. Other options might be to get a backpack vac and get the attachment for sucking to walls. Milwaukee has this set up. Or Dewalt’s hepa vac tstack with the attachment for the bit. Or there is a unit similar to what hooks the drill but you sling it on your shoulder.

      Lots of options. But I would want something that I don’t have to empty to often. Hope that helps

    OMG, I'm such an A$$, I'm totally mechanically declined and WTF did I just bid on (eBay) For a lot of 4 of these DeWalt (Used but L👀K brand new) Vacuums IDK for the FU(KING life of me. Auction had 3 days 2-go, my max bid is $30.00 + S&H is 33.20. I thought my father had every tool known 2-man because he's an ex mechanic as well as his father, and my brother, my uncle, etc..
    Yet I now realize that nobody I know has that Drill & Battery, so I really hope someone outbids me 🙏.. 1 thing I can say is that it's a pretty nice L👀KING tool ✔️✅

      Because you couldn't really make a sealed channel in metal and still have it be cost effective. But if you give me $1000 I'll machine one for you lol

    I want to buy it so badly but a friend told me that he had it not the dewalt and accually told me 10 years ago had the same system and the brushes where the bit goes destroyed often and the system wasn't working after that is that true about the dewalt dust extraction system?

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  Рік тому +1

      i've personally never had any issues with this system, its very handy if you need to be mobile, i tend to use a vacuum with an attachment more than i use this, but it's definitely handy

    • @EpIkYrIgMeNoS7
      @EpIkYrIgMeNoS7 Рік тому

      @Hammer and Home thanks a lot for your feedback I will definitely buy it mostly I want it cause I install aircoditions in houses and most of them tell me plz don't make dust so I think it's a good investment saves you time and make you seem more professional I also will use it for light digging in walls but there I dont need the vacuum. Thnx again :)
