      Thank you!
      Indeed, there is some truth to that statement. However, it's important to note that certain types of surface cleaners and or tips can indeed leave lines behind during pressure washing. Additionally, concrete surfaces can become etched, which can also result in visible lines. While you might already be aware of this, I thought it would be helpful to share this information with others who may come across the comments. 😊

      🤦 It's certainly not a secret, and I'll make sure to include the specific chemicals and their percentages used in our videos moving forward. My goal is to provide valuable content for you and others interested in the pressure washing industry. In this particular video, we treated the concrete with Sodium Hypochlorite (SH) and a detergent known as Apple Wash.

      Thank you and thanks for watching! Honestly I wouldn't recommend post treating as it is ineffective and can be a waste of chemical. Save you chemical and your money! The surface cleaner is called The Big Guy and is rated for 8 gpm. In our area keeping up with water varies. We usually try to keep at least 250 gallons in the buffer tank ensure we keep up. Yeah lol the music was supposed to gradually start playing.

    Nice. Finally you explained what others just don't. What is your pre treatment SH ratio? 3%? Also do you use a detergent? Also do you post treat? If not why not? Also seemed like you ignored some small oil stains? Did you ignore them on purpose?

      Thanks, @ketoman! On this driveway, I used 3.5%SH and 2.5% detergent. I basically use apple wash as my detergent for everything, even roofs. I also do not post treat with sh, due to the fact that sh breaks down into salt and oxygen after a period of time and can possibly damage the surface of the concrete.

    • @everythingperrycameron9431
      @everythingperrycameron9431 Рік тому +5

      If you are talking about down streaming pre-treatment meaning spraying chemicals and water both sourced to your gun from separate intakes, you can't exceed a strength of 2%. If your chemical tank is 100% bleach you will still only get a max. of 2% because your water to chemical ratio when down streaming is 4 to 1. You have to manually soft wash using a pump spray to exceed 2% bleach strength. Hope this helps

    That looks like absolute crap! ;p Nah, I'm just kidding. Looks great. You don't do any post-treating? Also, have you ever used a really strong mix of SH with a pump-up sprayer inside? I'm curious how it would work compared to the mold-killing chemical I bought which is probably a lower strength bleach to be honest. I have a spot in the deepest back room in my underground basement that started getting black mold in an area after the neighbor's gutter disconnected at their downspout in between our houses, which was creating pools of water every time it rained and it found it's way through the wall in an unfinished room. The chemical I bought was expensive, but it didn't really seem to do much. I'm wondering if I hit it with 8 to 10% really quick and get out of there before it starts releasing toxic gases when it's attacked and come back a week or so later after the SH smell dissipates if you think I'd have more luck. And do you think the smell would come up to the first floor? I'm not gonna hold you responsible if it did lol. Just looking for some advice.

    • @15centpressurewashing52

I am also sure if you use any bleach the smell will make it to the 1st and 2nd story. This is one of the reasons crawlspace companys use organic mold killing solutions. I hope this helps.
      To asnwer your other question, no we do not post treat. After about 10 minutes sh turns into a type of salt and depending on the aurface can be currosive.

    • @everythingperrycameron9431
      @everythingperrycameron9431 Рік тому +1

      If you are using anything above a 1.5% and are not down streaming you have to apply a bleach neutraliser to the plants before hand and post treat with water

    • @15centpressurewashing52
      @15centpressurewashing52  Рік тому +3

      Drenching vegetation in water can work at times depending on how fragile the vegetation is. I would recommend looking into SH Neutralizers instead of using water if you are wanting to provide professional exterior cleaning services. Also you want to keep from as much over spray/runoff as possible. Certain soaps mixtures and nozzles can help with this. If you have any other questions just let me know.

      Thank you for your comment, @jetskirehab750! When pre-treating, we control the spray/overspray to where it does not get on the grass. If we were to pressure wash then post treat, we would have to pressure wash again to relive the dead mold/spores that were left behind from pressure washing the first time! We definitely don't want to make a job take 2x as long as it should. There are times when concrete has terrible mold growth and requires surface cleaning, then treating the area and pressure washing again.
      Also if the wind is bad and overspray can not be controlled, this is when biodegradable sh neutralizers come in to keep from damaging any vegitation.

    Oh Lord, learn to Edit better. Don't be playing music when you're talking. And for the love of God, don't blast it either. You can adjust the volume of the audio tracks within the video.

      Were all human and we all make mistakes. This is how we learn and get better at what we do. When I posted this video I was very busy and somehow still got the video live hoping that it would be of some help to someone and that it was.
