What did you charge customer?
How do you charge to take water to jobsite?
It depends. Theres a lot of varibles here. Usually we dont charge for bringing water unless we have to make multiple teips filling up. Then we would figure up an houly rate for how long it takes to travel and fill the tanks.
How much do you charge for a project like this. Do you charge by the linear ft or by section.
We figure up how long it would take to do it and price it by the job.
Great question! I knocked on peoples doors and did anything i could think of to inform athers about our services.
Do you batch mix or use a proportioner?
When we first started we batched mix until we could invest into a proportioner. The proportioner and electronic ball valve for down streaming are one of the best investments that can be made once set up. It saves a lot of time and chemical. It aslo helps us provide a faster service for our customers.
Thanks for the honesty buddy!
Always! Thanks for watching! If you dont mind me asking what is it that attracted you to our channel?
@@15centpressurewashing52 I'm just starting out in the pressure wash/soft wash industry and I just appreciate the honesty and genuine feel from your channel. You showed and explained how to get started with very little and just no fluff. It's just refreshing and plus the fact that you're actually out in the field doing the work goes a long way with me. Keep it up and please keep sharing, you're helping a boatload of people, even if it's not seen!
question. what did you use for leads when first starting?
When we first started I was the lead generater. I woukd knock on doors and think of anything I could do to inform others about the services we offer.
Please tell me what you use to spray the SH with! Im tired of the pump sprayer!
Thanks for watching and I know the feeling. You would want to invest into a soft wash maching. Click the link below to see the difference between a pressure washer and a soft wash machine. ua-cam.com/video/qHKWI89FICo/v-deo.htmlsi=nXMre033bcs5H9Mt
I had a power washer come out and spray my building July 25th. 2024 And wiped out my whole garden , not only my beautiful flower garden but the ecosystem that thrived there.. What are my chances of responsible Compensate to me of what I lost and now have to rebuild from Scratch. The soil is gonna be tested by the EPA . I am beyond brokenhearted. Of the loss of my beautiful flower garden that I spent years and years tending to. With no warning to cover them. Hired by the rental office. With no warning of the toxins involved, No warning to cover your plants , but they made it clear to move your car For no bleach or chlorine to damage to the vehicle.
I am sorry to hear that this happened to you. Honeslty we here it alot and is one of the reasons I created this video. Your best bet would be to contact the compnay that provided the cleaning to see what you could get worked out. Honestly if they killer everything they werent professional and probaly wont do the right thing (replacing your plants).
Wow !!!! What a difference
Thank you and thank you for watching!
That looks like absolute crap! ;p Nah, I'm just kidding. Looks great. You don't do any post-treating? Also, have you ever used a really strong mix of SH with a pump-up sprayer inside? I'm curious how it would work compared to the mold-killing chemical I bought which is probably a lower strength bleach to be honest. I have a spot in the deepest back room in my underground basement that started getting black mold in an area after the neighbor's gutter disconnected at their downspout in between our houses, which was creating pools of water every time it rained and it found it's way through the wall in an unfinished room. The chemical I bought was expensive, but it didn't really seem to do much. I'm wondering if I hit it with 8 to 10% really quick and get out of there before it starts releasing toxic gases when it's attacked and come back a week or so later after the SH smell dissipates if you think I'd have more luck. And do you think the smell would come up to the first floor? I'm not gonna hold you responsible if it did lol. Just looking for some advice.
Thank you for watching. Honestly you beat bet would be to reach out to a crawlspace company as this is a different type of cleaning. I am also sure if you use any bleach the smell will make it to the 1st and 2nd story. This is one of the reasons crawlspace companys use organic mold killing solutions. I hope this helps. To asnwer your other question, no we do not post treat. After about 10 minutes sh turns into a type of salt and depending on the aurface can be currosive.
What pre treatment solution do you use, im new to this buisness
Concrete that has mold growth we usually use sodium hypochlorite (SH)
The video would have been so much better without the music.
Yes, this has been a pretry big request from subscribers. Thank you for watching and helping to improve our chanell. We will start making our videos without the back ground music.
So what did you pretreatment it with?
SH (Sodium Hyphoclorite) and detergent. If there is a video youd like for us to create, please watch our latest short and comment what youd like it to be!

Love this video! How can we find someone as knowledgeable as you to do our house without killing our plants??
Thank you! Ask what steps they take to keep your plants protected.
Amazing job! Me and a buddy are looking for pressure washing jobs and came across 15 Cent, we hope to get the job. Only problem is getting the required license. Any advice or help you can give us?
What advice are you looking for? How do you get jobs or license?
@@15centpressurewashing52 Anything that we would need for this job specifically!
What chemical do you use to pre-treat and post-treat concrete? Do you sell these products?
We use SH ( sodium hypochlorite) for treating concrete. At the moment we do not sell these products. I would call any local chemical companies near you to see if they sell these type of products.
Nice job, well done....
Thank you! If there is a video you'd like for us to create, please let me know. We are trying to get a list of videos together that our viewers would like to see.
Great job
Thank you and thank you for watching.
Most of that is black algae not mold.
Do you specialize in exterior cleaning? If so, what is your business name? I'd like to check you guys out!
what name surface cleaner is that
The big guy
Did you post treat too ?
No, we do not recommend post treating as it is a waste of chemicals. After 10 minutes, sh turns into a type of salt, and if left on concrete, it can become corrosive.
Excellent video Michael, like the examples you used as references on how to avoid damaging customers property, thanks guys
You're welcome! I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
what did you use for precleaning and what is that line around the top of your mouth were you hitting a bong
We did not provide any pre cleaning with this service. We did pre-treat prior to pressure washing, though. If you could, please do not make comments as you did, or you can be blocked from the 15cent channel. Thank you!
@@15centpressurewashing52 well hell, feel free to block me, I say what I say and I dont give a dam if you like it or not . and dont care if I see any more of your content .so you can shove it .
Can a soft washer work off of a household hose bib, or do you need a separate tank? What about the chemicals? Are they available for consumer use?
It is recommended to use a separate water tank and chemical tank while running a soft wash machine. The chemicals being used will depend on what is being cleaned.
Honestly? I think this dude is the most under rated pro of pressure washing. Very throughly described everything to a T and delivered amazing results instead of just talking about it. Dude deserves more subs and more money lol 😂 Keep on rockin big guy
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me! I try to be as detailed as I can and provide information that can be hard to come across online for individuals wanting to learn more about exterior cleaning. If there is ever a video you'd like for us to create, please let me know. I am trying to get a list of recommended videos together. Thank you again for your kind words.
Hey buddy. You inspired me to start a power washing company. I absolutely love it. My gear is nowhere as nice as yours and I’m dying to not work out of my little van but still very grateful to have started. Just wanted to say thanks for the words of wisdom buddy. 🎉 Joey Baker Chicago
You're welcome! This is great to hear! Congratulations! Always remember it isn't all about how nice your equipment is. When I first started, all that I had was a pump up sprayer and a garden hose. Obtain as much knowledge as you possibly can to help ensure you are providing quality services. Times will be challenging. These challenges are what will determine your success. It always gets worse before it gets better. Never give up and always give 100% no matter what, and you will achieve what it is you want to achieve!

i love your videos! so informative and clear. question: if i dial down my 4000psi 4gpm unit, can i do houses? what tips or nozzle should i use to drop the pressure more and soak/rinse safely and effectively? do i have to downstream or xjet? thanks! im new to this, asked to do gas stations by my client, want to diversify.
Thank you for your comment, Andrew! The optimal way to adjust the pressure of your washer is indeed through the appropriate nozzle tips, unless it's equipped with an unloader valve designed specifically for easy adjustment of water flow. Personally, I strongly advocate for downstreaming-it’s a great method that eliminates the need to lug around a bucket while applying chemicals. For tasks like house washing, the X-Jet Twist Nozzle can be a game-changer, providing low pressure while functioning as a versatile, multi-use tip.I'm curious about your experience, though. Have you had the opportunity to clean gas stations, or are you currently exploring the fundamental techniques to get started?
great video! I'm just getting into pressure washing, bought a 4000psi wheeled unit to start for gas station pads, drive thrus, etc. i have 12% SH for houses, to dilute and dawn soap. question: should i xjet for slabs and downstream for houses and wood decks? i have different chemicals for each application of course. just trying to start rigging up for this 4 gpm system until i can afford to build a 8gpm system. thanks!
Thank you, Andrew, for your comment! We don't have experience with X-Jet systems ourselves, so it's essential to conduct thorough research before considering their use. Ensuring that an X-Jet system can deliver at least 3.5% SH concentration for treating flatwork is crucial. Additionally, it's worth noting that mixing bleach with Dawn dish soap can be hazardous, as indicated on the back of the bottle. I highly recommend opting for a safer alternative like Apple Wash detergent, which can be diluted and is likely more cost-effective in the long run. When I first started, I used pump-up sprayers for treating flatwork before investing in a 12-volt soft wash machine for concrete treatment due to budget constraints. If you find out whether an X-Jet system can achieve the desired SH concentration, please let me know. Your insights and experiences are appreciated!
Good video bro.
Thank you, Aaron, and thank you for watching!
Dual barb injector or blend manifold?
Thanks for watching. In this video, a dual barb injector was used. Do you use one of the two?
What marker dye do you use? Got a link
Looks great. Seems like common sense that the longer you let the solution set, the less lines and lanes are a problem 😊 no rushing to do a bad grimey job here 😊😊
Thank you! Indeed, there is some truth to that statement. However, it's important to note that certain types of surface cleaners and or tips can indeed leave lines behind during pressure washing. Additionally, concrete surfaces can become etched, which can also result in visible lines. While you might already be aware of this, I thought it would be helpful to share this information with others who may come across the comments. 😊
What chemical used for pre-treatment?
Sh
😀 Thank you for your comment!
@sweetvuvuzela4634 makes a valid point. Pre-treatment typically involves the use of sodium hypochlorite (SH) and surfactants. If you don't mind my asking, are you currently involved in pressure washing, or are you considering starting your own venture in this field?
Did I miss the part wehre you told us what to use on the pre treat? The title of the video. Or is that a secret?
🤦 It's certainly not a secret, and I'll make sure to include the specific chemicals and their percentages used in our videos moving forward. My goal is to provide valuable content for you and others interested in the pressure washing industry. In this particular video, we treated the concrete with Sodium Hypochlorite (SH) and a detergent known as Apple Wash.
Another good video. Only advice would be to consider doing a voiceover instead of narrating on site. It’s really hard to hear you over the equipment and the music. and for me personally, the less music, the better.
Thanks for watching and thank you for your input!
where did you buy your push washer and what name brand is it?
