In a way, it’s Nemesis shipping. Naoto starts out as an opposing force and then joins your group and awkwardly (yet adorably) gets to know you.

Does anyone else find it annoying that in order to unlock the romance option you have to go through so many specific dialogue options throughout her social link, without any clarification as to which choices are correct or even that there is that stipulation?
Naoto was supposed to be that way, so in order to be with her you would need to start the newgame+

Pros: Naoto is a great character and is pretty wonderful. She is paired with one of greatest guys to know, Kanji. She grows so much over the span of not much time.
Cons: WHY did you get get rid of Mind Charge?
The AI never really uses it. And sometimes is just for the best to attack two times instead. The math doesnt lie.

Imo the most romantic and explicit romance option in P4G. Yu is definitely a perfect match for her. Enjoyed it more than any romance route in P5R.

Persona series always has a character, a theme, a story that is still relevant today.
Naoto reminds me of all the tomboys I've talked with. And also some of awkward high-school moments. I'm surprised SHE is a well written character and also enjoyable to be around.
And to this day Naoto still is relevant with modern culture. Persona series is special to me because of that

Also Akechi´s name seems to reference also a detective trope of a character that appears often in different japanese crimi fiction in various forms. Funnily P5 has even a tv segment that is missable where the news talks about Akechi being the second Detectiv Prince after Naoto.

I don't want to get political or anything but Naoto is an amazingly well written character that was way ahead of the times... Throughout the story, she eventually accepts who she really is, a woman, and I hope more of the community can follow her as an example.

Easily the best romance in the game. I will never understand why people pair her with Kanji; it is unquestionably out of character in the extreme, and indeed would wreck her character.
Mostly because they probably never get to fully understand Naoto's character, Kanji crush on Naoto is also apparent, so it's only sensible for them to ship the two, despite Naoto not even remotely showm any interest in boys (or girls for the matters) besides when Yu opt for the romance route
