  • This recipe for making fried rice in the Ninja Foodi is very easy and delicious. You can use leftovers to make this. I made this with just eggs for the protein as it was for lunch. But you can add leftover chicken, beef, pork, tofu, it's especially good with pork belly. Most recipes call for oil but I think butter tastes better. Day old rice works best with fried rice but if you make fresh, place it in the brig for a few hours or freezer for 30 minutes then proceed with recipe. Ninja Foodi fried rice recipe.

Would rather use a wok. You dont have to take the egg out and back in. But I understand if you live in student accommodation or traveling in a camper van.
Also never seen butter in fried rice. You need to use high temperature oil like nut oil. Trust me butter is for pancakes and omelettes

This can all be done on the stove. I was looking for a recipe to make fried rice, including the rice in a Foodi.

You can cook your rice in the Foodi-then make the fried rice in the foodi. people usually use leftover rice for fried rice. Thanks Sally!

My ninja foodie broke I got all my recipes from you and salted pepper
They sent me the Ninja Combi but I'm having problems finding basic recipes like for white rice or fried rice
    Or stew.
Will you be making any videos using the Ninja Combi?
    Please

Thank You for the recipe! since You used frozen peas I was wondering if a combo bag of frozen peas and carrots would be okay to get the same results in Your opinion?

I made hamburger fried rice last night for work today, and used a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. It worked out great and saved time from having to peel and chop carrots.Depending on how you want your vegetables, you could let onions start to cook before vegetables-then add vegetables or if you wanted them cooked longer add with onions and cook. I like to start the onions first then add frozen veg. I posted a pic of it on pressurecrisp facebook group page.

Yes all of these recipes can be done on the stove. These vids are for people who have or are thinking of getting a Ninja Foodi. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and pros and cons with this appliance. I. still use my stove to can or when I have to cook large amounts. of food and baked goods. thanks Tanya!

Forgive me but it depends on if you are talking Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and whether or not it is influenced by the US tastes. What Fried Rice does NOT use is BUTTER. Chinese recipes tend to use Peanut Oil or Sesame Oil, and sometimes Olive Oils only...
