Good review, thanks. I have a 2019 RT with around 50,000 miles and its been a great vehicle. Lots of room and fun to drive. I still have my 2005 Durango with 200,000 miles on it. Still runs great but starting to rust pretty bad. Even If it craps out tomorrow for a vehicle I paid about $25,000 for 18 years ago I got my moneys worth.
I’m on the fence with a 2020 RT blacktop Durango 40k on it, certified pre owned no accidents and pristine service history. Price is great!!! Any common big ticket problems on these after 100k? I drive the GT model often for work, but the hemi is calling my name !!! Thank you
Great video! Around the 8 minute mark, you mentioned the SRT version having the 5.7 liter when yet it's the 6.4 liter. I'll be in the market this upcoming spring and I'm considering this and the SRT version. You mentioned the weight of the vehicle which is why I'd lean more towards the SRT considering the 6.4 will move the vehicle a lot better. The Tow N Go package is pretty tempting though.
Thanks for the review, I was actually looking at a Ford Bronco but then my friend told me Jeep/Dodge are having massive rebates on new vehicles from them. I checked the Wrangler out then decided to look at the Grand Cherokee, I was disappointed to see they don’t offer the Hemi anymore. So I looked at the Durango and was impressed with the look, features and price. Plus the Hemi’s fuel economy isn’t worse than the other vehicles I was looking at. Between the sales and my companies X plan, I might be able to get a mind blowing deal on one. Plus I feel now is the time to get a V8 as I heard Jeep/Dodge is going to move away from the Hemi to an Turbo I6.
Does your Uconnect shut off your Bluetooth quite a bit and disconnects phone and lose gps!! That's my issue with my TNG and annoying as hell!! Also what winter tires do you use as I was told only the Pirelli Scorpion Winters as won't fit a smaller tire which I know not true but what do you use!
Hello, did you install the rear glove box? All of the R/T's that I have seen only have the cup holders on the floor and the fold down armrest. Is this a special model that I should look for..
@@orangeblockgarage I deliver food that’s why i ask I have a SXT durango im thinking about trading my vehicle in since it has eco mode to make it 4 cylinder
Truck? Car? family SUV. Feel more of a "male." I bought my truck. Now, to make someone feel better about owning/possessing a family SUV. I would purchase something like this, not huge like the Expeditions, Tahoes, or Yukon. Seems to be more fun on the street on course. I more of the off the asphalt with my RAM.

Great review! We're on the same journey. I bought mine used with 33k miles on it... now rolling up on 50k. Absolutely Love it! Still looks brand new.

Tow n go is sweet although I do have a Jeep SRT as well. It is way faster but the Tow n Go holds its own in its own right!
With the tire width can you get mud flaps? Would that help?
4:53 no water leakage in the taillight? Also have you had to replace bulbs yet in this?
Ordered my 224 a week ago just watching videos til she arrives
This not no 2024, 2024 is way more updated. But tow and go still look good.
You forget to mention you don’t have to worry about it getting stolen
Why not?
@Mosherose08 "people" who are looking to steal these are looking for Srt and hellcat models. This one is just an r/t.
@@Fbothoughtofmind that’s what I’m saying the safety features are good
They will still steal these. all they need is to drop a hellcat or srt engine under the hood.
@@Fbothoughtofmindgot it
I have a 22 Durango SRT I installed ZL1 brand mudflaps on it when it was new to prevent the stone chipping you’re talking about
Alot of people do drive em like they stole it because they did😂

I would certainly consider the Durango! Make it a top pick on the list with the tow n go package
@@orangeblockgarage Thanks for the advice!
You bet!
I’m interested in buying a ‘24 Durango R/T Plus, and curious if you have the classic “Hemi Tick” that the 5.7L engines have?
They don’t I have a 2024 rt Durango
I have had 3 ram trucks with no issues and 2 set’s with no issues. I wouldn’t be worried about it. Rare cases that happens
23 Durango R/T here blackout edition. Nice SUV indeed but insurance is a bit pricey otherwise a great vehicle. No issues here at 8,000 miles.
going from my mazda3 to my durango R/T it was like a $20/mo price increase with Geico
I pay 170 for a 2023 sonata N line and a 2024 Durango rt plus.
Hey brother did you add a cold air intake? Also any other mods, as you know looking to gandit and add a cold air intake
No cai or any other mods. I did add a cai and exhaust on my jeep srt though
My 2018 is costing me too much money at 125k. Thinking about picking up one of these with 25k on it.
Great video. Question for you? I'm currently looking at a 22 R/T plus. Do you use regular unleaded or premium? Also, how is your MPG?
I use regular. MPG is around 18-19
Detail? What's up with the front right tire?

Not that, just the uConnect box apparently needs to see service center all the time according to the message but everything works ok other than that
General Grabber UHP All season
How's the drone from the exhaust, if any, at highway cruising speed like 65-75?
Nothing
What year
2021
Is it worth waiting for a CPO?
I would recommend a CPO because of all the SRT parts on these vehicles
Def worth it. The connection is trash. You'll get water in your tailights
Hello, did you install the rear glove box? All of the R/T's that I have seen only have the cup holders on the floor and the fold down armrest. Is this a special model that I should look for..
Nope, that can be added as an options on the R/T’s
Which trim has ventilated seats??
Depends on which packages you get. You can get them on a GT if you want
@@orangeblockgarage thanks. Starting to car shop next year.
Good luck!!
What warranty do you have that covers everything?
Factory
And certified pre owned
I looking at a durando RT over a 4Runner . They asking too much, plus this one has a v8. Good ol 5.7 HEMI!
Go with Durango RT Tow n Go
Hey, quick question, what brand/model is the trunk liner? it looks great! thanks
Smart liner!
Thank you for a wonderful review
Is it awd
Yes
I’m glad you have had a great experience with yours. Mine has had so many freaking issues and I’m only at 30k, selling it back to the dealer tomorrow
What year and issue did you have? I’m looking at a 21 r/t. Was going with a 2019 SRT Durango but I felt the clutch slipping and didn’t bother
@ mine was a 22 r/t.
How Does The Rt do on gas through the city
18 ish
@@orangeblockgarage I deliver food that’s why i ask I have a SXT durango im thinking about trading my vehicle in since it has eco mode to make it 4 cylinder
It’ll kill your pockets if you can’t afford it stick with the 4 cylinder Gas is a good 800 a month.

What is an "apleek"? Also, your exhaust tips are uneven.
