- Here is one last compilation to see out 2021, featuring songs from Friends of The Shipyard and Fisherman's Fayre, from their 1998 album titled 'Shanties and Songs of the Sea'.
Although their production can sound slightly outdated at times when compared with more modern releases, they definitely had some interesting ideas, and were pioneers in combining shanties and sea songs with unique instrumentation.
Other than this album, and one or two more recent songs on Spotify, there doesn't seem to be any information about them online. A mysterious group indeed.
I have added lyrics if you would like to sing along, which you can view by activating 'Subtitles/CC'.
Thanks again to everyone who has listened, commented, and subscribed so far. As always, it is very much appreciated. Happy New Year to all :)

i'm gonna be honest, in my opinion the compilations stopped being as good past volume 6. 7 and above all seemed boring and uninspiring
