The 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 of Salts and compounds is an integral part of the 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 syllabus for students of Science.
This lab activity promotes a deeper learning of the subject matter, enabling students to hone skills including analytic reasoning, complex problem solving, examination, inquiry and critical thinking.
It also aids communication - as students elaborate upon the tests performed to identify the cation and the anion, their ability to write well, listen effectively and discuss intelligently are also exercised.
