Amazing restoration work and end result. I love a clean, simple build without all the fender flares and carbon fiber everywhere (not that I'm against those looks). Those seats would KILL my back but I understand this is probably track driven too. Maybe get a new shift boot to match the stitching on the steering wheel.

Decided to sell the car to enthusiast and then I started working on BMW bikes, which are on my channel also

Thanks! I've used Bodyschutz from Motip, applied with a aircompressor. I made sure everything was free from dirt and other crap. Rust had been removed and treated with primer

The whole build took 8 years, but it wasn't a continuous project also drove it during the summers. The 8k is an estimation, could be higher. Got pretty lucky that I bought the 316 for cheap
Hi man. I don't have a paintcode unfortunately. But I do know that this was a single stage paint and semi gloss. Would highly recommend that you go for a 2k paint 👍🏼

The welds weren't the best I know, but that's all in the game when you want to do everything yourself. During the whole build the welds got better pretty quick 👌🏼

Alles is mogelijk, ligt eraan waarmee jij akkoord wil gaan betreffende de kwaliteit. Als je het zelf doet zal het geen professionele kwaliteit worden. Je zou er ook voor kunnen gaan om het voorwerk zoveel mogelijk zelf te doen om de kosten te drukken.

It's a M-tech steering wheel that's OEM, but it's been reupholstered including the center with the ///M color stitching. There are also E36 M-tech steering wheels 👍🏼

Thanks buddy. For the carpet and rearseats I've used Motip vinylspray. Held up great on the carpet, never had any passengers on the rear seats 😁
