    EVERYTHING was going great.... Until you replaced those wheels... A GOOD wheel clean - bringing the wheels up to the same (if not very close to the finish of the new centres you bought) - would have served to make the whole project a damn fine job...
    Also, this video just made me miss my old E30 325i SE even more 😕

      yup, I seen him replace the bbs wheels. Those things have crazy value

    • @Immashift
      @Immashift Рік тому +2

      Yeah I agree. The BBS wheels were fine, maybe needed some polishing. Also the bumper to Rustoleum gloss black was bad. I probably would have done matte and then matte clear. Gloss black from a can on plastic tends to look pretty bad.

    U could paint the carpet black like in other videos to give a more gorgeous finish to the interior and revest the steering wheel with some sort of alcantara-like fabric. It would totally changes the appearence of this car. And of course a set of sport lowered springs would be the last thing to perfection. Besides of that, amazing car, and amazing restoration! Keep it up! Love your videos

      They didn't even remove the door handles to paint it. You can see in the after-paint close up of the door handle where the masking tape has lifted the paint edge when they pulled it off. This was made for video not for quality. They didn't even shampoo the floor carpet, just covered it. And we didn't see anything of the underside or engine work. This isn't a restoration it's a make over on the surface only.
