I wish they sold 48V 25Ah LiFePO4 batteries at the same price as 12V 100Ah.

Excellent video - really like your content and production style. Way more "viewable" than many others. I like the battery, but it's 43% more expensive than a LifePower4 from Signature Solar. For stationary storage needs, you could buy three LifePower4 batteries for the cost of two of these, giving you 300 amps worth of output, but 50% more capacity.
Unless you need the rugged aspects of this case, like in a golf cart or RV, there's just no way it competes with other products.

I don't remember him comparing it at all to the WG4. What is wrong with the EG4? Isn't the eg4 a lot less money?

This is the best VoltGo Elite battery box I have seen so far, I’m impressed with it.
Many threaded inserts all around the Battery Box allow to mount the Solar Charger and Inverter directly on the Battery Box using some DIY brackets or pieces of plywood.
I would like these battery boxes as DIY home building kits like Sun Fun Kits has.
I would just change the BMS on the batteries to the JK BMS brand,
for 24V and 48V JK Inverter BMS - as a DIY kit option :)
If BMS wouldn't change, they could at least sell those awesome empty battery boxes.

It’s a little pricy for what it is compared to other 48v 100ah batteries.

I just bought a portable solar generator and want to buy solar panels to charge it. I would like to have at least 2 charging points coming from the same solar panels. Are there are any "distribution boxes" or something of the sort that will allow me run cables from the solar panels to different rooms and allow me change which charging point is active at any given time?

Is that the same battery as the voltgo battery or does it just look the same? Seems to me like it is the same case with big battery stickers, but might be something different between the two.

    It’ll charge down to -20C.
Assuming that you’ve had it connected and powered so the heaters can keep the cells warm.
    Your testing is suspect.
And your 2 minute teardown didn’t have a teardown! 2 minute stats is what you should call it.

    • @evahsia
      @evahsia 5 днів тому

That is their trademark "teardown". If you watch other videos, they use the "teardown" moniker for specs all the time. It is called author's choice. It is strange, not wrong.
And your comment about having it connected during charging to run the heaters is nonsense. If you are charging, then by definition you are connected and powered.

Unless it's going in a golf cart, why wouldn't someone series 2 decent 24v batteries for less money?

Perhaps you have never heard of a 48V to 12V step down module. They are very common in Golf carts to run the 12V equipment.
