I bought this but I don't know if all the cables are in the right place. The screen has a picture of the remote and the OK + /// and I've pressed them together but nothing is happening. Can you help?
@17:45 it *does* have a TAB in it - the symbol below the backspace symbol is the tab key symbol. Just go there and click it... Also, you seem not to know a thing about Android TV, which is what the GTV is based on...

Actually, to be honest, I find it a shame that the two are sharing the name Android. They share a significant part of the codebase, particularly where the kernel is concerned. But the reason you won't find many 'standard' Android apps for TV is because they're essentially different OS'es. A developer must _specifically_ release an app for either, or both. Also, to release an app for Android TV, they (the developer, but also the app in question) must comply to _much_ stricter rules than would be necessary for the regular Android (as found on your typical phone or, dare I say, tablet. The reason why, for example, SpeedTest.net by Ookla isn't available for TV is that it doesn't meet the UX/UI guidelines set for Android TV. With this all in mind, please _first_ take a more detailed look at Android TV as an OS; then come back to this or any other device running it and share your findings. To be honest, I myself like the fact that Formuler _finally_ made a device that is no longer dependent on Android 7, and that they have instead gone as far as to optimise their stellar MyTVOnline2 app to run on Android TV-based devices. As I've stated before, Android TV is _much more secure than regular Android,_ due in large part to the fact that these tougher requirements are in place, and otherwise simply caused by the fact that _any_ device that *isn't* a tablet or phone running the Non-TV, standard version of Android, is based upon Android version 7 at the most, because Android 8 and higher aren't allowed to run on devices other than tablets or phones (unless you would go to the lengths of actually taking a rooted ROM image, which would rule out ANY chance of having your device certified for the Widevine L1 DRM scheme. Missing that certification will, in turn, rule out *any* chance of _legally_ being able to play Netflix, UA-cam (4K), or indeed any other streaming service, on the device. You will no doubt have found that Android TV, and in turn the Formuler GTV, _have_ been certified for compliance with the Widevine L1 scheme. The Formuler Z8 Pro is the only other set-top box made by Formuler to have been certified for this, and it will likely remain the last one to get this certification whilst on Android 7. This is due to the fact that Android 7 will reach its sunset date somewhere next year. As an owner of the regular Z8, which was to get Widevine L1 support but has yet to get it as of the time of me writing this, I am wondering whether Formuler will somehow find a way around being limited to run Android 7. Because other than switching to Android TV, which is unlikely to happen for any existing Android 7-based box, it seems the options are scarce to say the least.
Man I want to try out the gtv. I own a Buzz Box XRS 4500 when it came out, which I bought as my beginners box and then bought a firestick 4K to use in my bedroom and one for my outdoor projector. Been wanting to try the gtv but can't justify buying another device lol.

High pitched voice under a video of UA-cam. My advice : don't speed things up, let things go on their own natural pace. Life isn't meant to be rushed, rather it should be respected and enjoyed. Also don't film with one hand and unbox with the other, it isn't convenient. Respect.

No...error message received - if playstore version installed...not compatible...possibly a “side loaded” older version of Netflix might work...I haven’t tried yet.

I don't think you have a issue...if I understand you correctly. 1. Connect your drive. 2. Go to settings 3. Go to device preference 4. Go to storage 5. Under removable storage select USB Drive 6.Select erase & format 7. Format
@@itsnotthathard2304 Thanks for the advise. I have the drive connected. I can not view the stream-recordings I made with the internal viewer. I have to go to a filebrowser, select the file and play it through an other app. This is not how it should be.

I once had the same problem as you describe - the things that solved this issue for me was : Erase & format the USB Drive first using Formuler’s ERASE FORMAT METHOD I described previously above...plus the drive I use is a simple thumb drive or USB FiT drive not the larger disk drive. Last I think I began using myTVonline version 1.4.74 & 1.4.80 Do if you still have a older version You might have to update. Good luck.

Maybe you've figured this out by now but Side load Netflix 4.16.3 build 15172.apk works.
