Can you do a video of time shift recording.i am waiting for my one in the UK,delivery is delayed.i have ordered this as I was told its the best customizable layout for iptv.i had a magbox but it was limited. did this get the new Google TV update ? or is it still on the old android 9 platform ?
Bought the gtv a couple weeks ago, and it runs retroarch pretty smoothly, runs ps1 games, for newer games I side loaded stadia

I've also side loaded popcorn time, and Netflix which both run amazingly well, I'd definitely recommend those as well
can you change channels using the voice control remote gtv bt1 for example say "channel 101" etc..etc..
This device looks awesome. Been wanting to try one but can't get myself to buy another device since I already have devices in all my rooms. Currently using the buzz box xrs 4500 and 4k firesticks. One question though, are the Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Disney + apps in 4K or are they mobile apps that will only display and 720? The down side to my buzz box is that these apps are mobile and have to use a wireless air mouse/ keypad to navigate through these apps. Great video BTW
What IPTV service do you use? I currently have 2, 1 is more stable than the other but Im always looking for a new option to incorporate.

Explained very well. I have this GTV for two days now and I (and two others) have not been able to connect an external drive. A recording to the internal card show now m3u8-files which can not be played. Have you been able to attach an external drive and view recordings? Any help is appreciated.
I have the same question just asked him about the recordings how it works!
@@khalidmuhammad2098 I returned mine to the dealer who tried to connect and record on it. This was succesfull but playing the file was impossible. He had to install VLC-player to view the recordings. The internal player is UNABLE to play its own recordings.

@@ShoAndTech yes, for example I want to schedule record a channel for a perticular program that will come later so I can play it whenever I want
@@khalidmuhammad2098 yeh, schedule it and play it back, simple, but also some servers allow playback for over a week of channels, so get a decent server or just use the record to record and play, it's as simple as that 😊 You've probably figured it out by now though 2 years later lol
Hi can you tell me if the BT-1 remote can be used with the Formuler Z10 Pro Max?
on the box ittsefl when i open the remote app is the connection of the BT-1 set to disabled. i can not find a way to connect it. Thanks, Great video ;)
I use my BT 1 on my max without issues. Didn’t even sync it through the app

Would you take this over a Shield Pro 2019 model with TiVimate and IMplayer?
The shield Pro 2019 is really good. Especially with TiviMate. Plus I imagine the price is probably cheaper?
Shield is $199 before tax and GTV is $179. I still prefer MOL2 over the ones mentioned above. If you want to give that GTV away let me know! I have the Z8 and really like it.
If you don’t care for gaming then you’re not missing much. Especially with the GTV having a built in remote mic now.

I’d go GTV over the Z8. Still gotta download a non Play-store version of Netflix but it works well.

Is it easy to navigate thru the Google Store Netflix version using the remote? Same question about PrimeVideo. I have a Z8 and these apps don't work well. I am assuming this is the same case with the Z box. How would you compare to Netflix and PrimeVideo on the Gtv with boxes mentioned above?

Quick Q: can you move/reorder channels
You can create a list of favourites and it auto creates a list of visited channels for the session. That’s about it
How does it compare to the Z8?
I prefer the GTV interface and access

I haven’t attempted any gaming yet. Usually save that for my nvidia shield

Correct, not certified for remote friendly Netflix (atv version of app).
l will say not a good review, but you are good at reviewing. What l mean by that. You never got into the new features of this box, compared to say the other one z8 pro. There is lots of new features but you did not look at any of them. Example ,google voice, android 9, is it better than the z8. I am wondering which one to buy?
Yeah I forgot to add voice control support is stellar. Was more concerned with keeping video length down.

Google’s Android TV makes the GTV worth it. You’re not missing out on anything at all from the Z8
@@ShoAndTech Not too sure what googles android tv is.Also if the gte is more google and l have to log in with my gmail, password etc,isnt there a risk that people can see my personal use on google etc ?with this box
Use a different account or VPN or just choose not to connect it to a google account at all. Works either way

IMHO, the z8 pro is miles better than GTV in terms of pic quality, fast processing, channel surfing, better wi-fi functionality since it uses a long, external antenna, as opposed to the internal one in the GTV model. GTV is all hype, and more expensive.
Give the GTV device at least 4 to 6 months for the manufacture to release more firmware updates to fix bugs and optimize the whole GTV experience. But, I whole heartedly agree it is over-priced. At say $110 or lower would be ideal pricing.
Only has 2 gig of Ram . When you run a VPN it will be slow and non responsive. SPEND the extra $30 and get yourself a NVIDIA...Plus this box is not Netflix certified
