Hello Tina, I'm sorry to hear about the lost pattern. I have been in the same situation with a lost pattern. I did eventually find it, however that can be so frustrating. Like you said, you can replace it. It's always great to see you. U nail next time, stay safe, stay happy, and keep crafting.

Thanks Jenn , I have found my chart in my bead box 🥴 The Long dog is big but it's the only one I still enjoy. I think I'm giving up larger ones because I loose interest before the end . I think we are both changing what stitching makes us happy . I love my Mira's but I'm giving them up . Just like you are letting go of some of your Dimensions 😊

Tina, I am loosing stuff all the time, I ordered 2 thread holders from Etsy, they arrived in the house, and I put them in a special place as one was for my mother in law last Christmas, I am still racking my brain where they have gone, I did buy them again but I know the others will turn up at some point. I hope your chart will turn up, are you sure hubby hasn’t moved it😂
The frame matches well! I just purchased my first cross stitch in years thanks to your inspirational works. It is trees and also a John Muir quote ("And into the forest I go, to lose...,). I haven't started it yet. Just building up the courage lol. Did you take the chart out to remind yourself to pick-up the missing floss colour ?

Are there special rules or things you have to keep in mind when working with variegated yarn? I never used this, but really like to try it. It was nice to see you again, bye! Love from Belgium, Lieve
Hi Lieve, the main rules for variegated floss is to stitch one x at a time . Also don't fold your thread . Cut two lengths the same , to match the color and not loose the variation. On my Long dog I do a loop start ( folded over) sometimes to get a different look . This probably sounds more complicated than it is . I'm sure someone will have made a video about it 😁

Nice to see you again Tina 😊I really enjoyed your Halloween intro and the rest of the Halloween animations here and there and your Halloween cross stitch decoration, especially the Nora Corbett witches. Of course the Moon's out Brooms out is also perfect and I love the Heart of Autumn too. Always fun to watch unpacking cross stich or knitting goodies. Both kits are beautiful. Also I really wish you will find your missing chart and yes I know you can replace it but still. Maybe though, well I know what I am going to say it's frowned upon but you had bought it once so maybe someone who has it too or even better the company could, you know send you a copy? "whispers carefully" I mean you had already paid for it, it's now like someone is going to share it with you for free or anything. In my mind it's not like disrespecting the designer and share away the design for free 😰 the I hope you know what I mean. I “lose” things too! (A) the pattern is in a “Really Good Spot” (which is my usual hiding/finding place). (B) maybe it’s folded up w another stitch pattern… (C) well, it’s possible it got tossed. We won’t go there now, will we ???!!!…

This is going to sound very strange but when i can't find something i say out load"please God find chart" and every time it works( note, i do believe in God but i'm not churchey)🤗
I've already done similar 😆 I do believe in God but I'm more spiritual than churchy so I asked the Angels for help . They haven't yet but I believe sometimes things are for a reason and I haven't learnt a lesson yet 😊

Sorry you have lost your chart it must be in holiday with my library card….not with the ball of wool I thought I had lost though as I hadn’t actually ordered it! Why is it that some people are not affected by losing stuff but it drives me nuts. I am technically still looking for my flower fairy wings that I lost in the 80’s😂
