What a beautiful Long Dog, I love how you made the colours fit for the different motifs. Those red horses up in the corner, they look fantastic! Its just an absolute stunner ❤❤❤ As one floss tuber says, Stitch what you want when you want. As long as what you do makes you happy❤

Oh, it’s stunning 🤩, well done, that’s a very big piece to stitch, it would take me much longer than 4 and 1/2 years. I just love Foxy, he’s so cute and Poppies remind me of my Mum, she loved painting them. Congratulations on your big finish👍🏼🙋🏼♀️

Love the Templar Prophecy! Have been waiting to see it completed. It is gorgeous! What a lot of work, 60, 065 stitches is A LOT! The variegated thread looks great with the pattern.

WOW, WOW & triple WOW. I saw you holding the Templar Prophecy on my feed & screamed, YOU FINISHED IT. Congrats. It is truly a Masterpiece. Wonderful. In a stitching life 4 years is nothing, really. (been stitching since I was about 12 or 13 & will be 76 this year).
Wow that's a lot of stitching years. I've only been stitching for about 40 years . Plenty more stitching to look forward to. Thanks for your lovely comment, happy stitching x

Yay! It's done! And it's beautiful!!!! I love that you are more minimal and that you like to have the least amount of stash. I think I am sort of inclined that way. I have too many charts and should probably declutter, but as you said that taste changes. I might get rid of something I really did want.. But for now, it will just wait awhile before I get to them, if I get to them. Happy stitching.... p.s. Love Foxy. He has such an impish look on his face.
The projects that are in hibernation I hide right out of the way so they can't whisper at me to notice them 🤣

That's an achievement! It looks gorgeous! I am working on a big project too, a big HAED which is 288.000 stitches. I've stitched around 31.000 stitches up to now. I work on it every Saturday and I love it when I am working on it but I don't want to start anything that big ever again. I mean 60.000 to 90.000 stitches should be my limit, because right now it feels like it will never finish. So yes, I am really impressed with you!!! The "Tarot for stitchers" amazing, so cute! Looking forward to seeing you again 🥰🧵🪡
Good luck with your Haed, you can do it . I found out years ago I'm not a Haed stitcher. I love them but they are too much for my scattered brain 🤣 I enjoy them by watching others , happy stitching x

Congrats on the finish! Has it been 4 years already?? That went fast! Lord Libidan has a chart that gives the DMC numbers of the solid colours that go into DMC Variegated floss. Since you're fussy cutting the floss, it might be handy to have those numbers. DMC 115 is made up of 321, 815 and 902.

😄maybe it's the wrong project. If it doesn't bring you joy , let it go . I have abandoned a few of my fancy ladies because I wasn't feeling the love anymore. It's OK to change our minds , it's only stitching . Life is precious, we should only stitch what makes us happy 😁

I used a Q-snap. I don't know how it worked but I managed to stuff the extra fabric in the grime guard 😁

Fantastic. Do you use a hoop, scroll rods or stitching in hand for such large pieces.
I managed to use a q-snap frame with the excess fabric tucked into a grime guard 😁

Tina, your Long dog is amazingly wonderful. There is so much to look at and I love all the little animals. Did you put your initials or a date in there, I couldn’t see anything. You must be feeling a kind of freedom now and maybe a loss too. Like a good book that’s ended. lol. Brilliant job, well done ❤❤❤
