One of the passengers post a video before theyve crashed. They are already hit by something that already damage the left wing and severe impact inside. 30mins before the crashed.
In the video of the aircraft immediately before and into the crash sequence it was flying a fugoid pattern, climbing until it lost enough air speed to stall then nosing over and diving until it has built up enough air speed to have lift again and so starting the pattern over. This suggests the aircraft may have had stuck or jammed elevators, and being as the fugoid pattern seemed to be occurring over maybe only a couple of thousand feet at low altitude that would rather seem to suggest that the aircraft was very much struggling for power. Although I couldn't see any sign of damage to the aircraft on that video I am wondering if what may have been interpreted as a missile strike may have been an uncontained rotor burst in number 1 engine as that could account for apparent shrapnel damage to the port side of the fuselage and tail, damage to flight control surfaces and obvious power loss due to one engine being destroyed. There are plenty of prior examples of uncontained rotor bursts causing massive damage to the fuselage and tail of other aircraft while fortunately not causing loss of flight control, allowing the aircraft to land safely.
An engine burst is very unlikely to cause complete hydraulic failure due to the hydraulic lines being carefully placed such as no fragment can pierce through both lines. I'm not saying its impossible, but very unlikely, where such an event would only occur if a really massive explosion with lots and lots of fragments are expelled from the engine. A missile, on the other hand, creates a clould of shrapnel that can easily cut 2 or 3 hydraulic lines, and also maybe even other electric lines and computers, creating a combined failure that is very difficult for the airplane designers to take into account (But the rotor burst analysis is a requirement for the part 25 certification)

@cxrrupteed Anything that gets you closer to an exit. So many crashes happened where almost everyone lives but some exits are blocked and everyone dies in the fire or only a handful make it out. You have 90 seconds to live if you crash and there's fire. Memorising how many rows it's to the next exit comes in handy when the cabin is filled with smoke so thick you can touch it and two breaths kill you. Mercifully the smoke is so toxic and intense almost everyone is usually killed by it and simply looses consciousness relatively quickly and deceases before the tanks burst. The cabin crew puts up with pretending to be waiters to the fussiest customers not technically on the planet. But their actual job is to get you out in that situation and they often are the only fatalities. So don't argue with them or get your bag those 10 seconds might make the difference if they can follow their passengers out or not before the plane explodes. So listen to them and watch the briefing, you knowing it in your sleep because you heard it dozens of times is the point. In the panic of a burning and exploding airliner after a pretty rough crash and maybe a broken leg and a few minutes to get out your memory can be finnicky and if you hesitate or panic you die and likely take others along, who tried to get out behind someone too dazed to do anything. Air Dubai had one that landed on fire. Everyone was alive as the aircraft stopped. No one lived. That has happened many times. Also don't waste time. If the exit is stuck it's stuck, move on that's why there are several. The aircraft is certified to evacuate everyone using half the exits in 90 s. Just because it hasn't exploded doesn't mean it won't. Kerosene being vaporised by open flames tends to be pretty flammable.
Black boxes will explain all. Till then just speculation and i'm gobsmacked on this like most. RIP to the victims. Condolences to all family and friends. Speedy recovery for survivors.
This is social media and have freedom of speech. Why not speculating? My theory is clearly a Russian SAM hit. Investigation have great possibilities to be “assisted” by Putin, who already send a team to quickly cover up the evidences.
The embraer plane was almost arrived to airport but i can see its speed 150 knots only and looks like its power already down so unable to land on the airport runway. I checked that plane in FlightRadar24. The plane already lost its control at the sea. So its speed just slow down. I'm sorry to hear that and that was an unexpected accident 😮😢
we will find out that without doubt it was the victim of a Russian defence missile, well done the crew for saving some of the passengers! R I P..........
The E190 was shot down by russians with a Pantsir anti-air rocket! There is already footage from crash with vertical and horizontal stabiliser full of holes from a missile
There are lots of videos on Instagram taken by passengers while airborne where you see damages on the left wing. Other videos show details of the tail area with penetrating holes that have burn marks.
Im not interested in knowing details like how old the plane was and it was ten minutes late before pushback. Just what happened to make it crash, thank you. You make it sound like a statistic, and not a tragedy involving the heroic valient crew and the brave and stoic passengers. May all of them of whatever faith find themselves in the care of their loving or compassionate God. The passengers were SO brave and calm, I cannot find the words to express my admiration of their behaviour.
It looks like AHY8243 was in a phugoid during the crisis which indicates a complete loss of control like United 232 and OO-DLL. I also saw what looked like flak debris on the tail of the jet like on MH17. My best bet? It was shot down over Russia, and the pilots got their airplane as close to a safe landing as possible in Kazakhstan. If the plane was shot down, it would explain the loss of control since all the hydraulics are in the tail. If your hydraulics are shot out, controlling your plane is impossible!
The plane was deliberately redirected toward Aktau, seemingly with the intent of crashing it into the sea to obscure evidence that it had been struck by an air defense missile. Despite the odds, the pilot managed a rough landing, exposing the truth. The shrapnel damage clearly visible on the plane’s tail leaves no doubt that it was brought down by Putin's air defense system. As expected, they continue to deny responsibility, just as they did with the start of the war in Ukraine and the downing of Malaysian Flight MH17 in 2014. It is imperative that global leaders take decisive action to bring an end to this criminal regime.
It's strange because Embraer e190 planes are safe planes (they have a low incident rate in the world), but it's tragic and this case needs to be caught by experts. God bless the passenger family.
That's the problem with your comment Safety measures, no matter how robust, has no counter to a shootdown Worse case if a military air defence is guilty of skill issue (incompetence)
This is a perfect example why I always sit near the rear end of a plane. The front breaks up and absorbs most of the impact. Depending on how it crashes like here.
During my numerous decades of life I've always noticed that the tail section typically is the least damaged section & have often wondered whether there is sometimes a scuffle by passengers to make their way to the back in cases like this where it becomes blatantly clear to passengers the plane will crash land. But then there's those faithful photos recovered from that airline flying over South America - who's tail was cut off by another jet flying at the same high altitude... One photo shows numerous passengers clearly realising they were doomed. Next photo shows a passenger who had been looking straight at the camera, had unclipped himself & was leaping out of the back of the plane with the tail section completely gone... Needless to say, only the camera's memory card survived
RIP to all those that lost their lives and all those who were injured and traumatized as a result of this crash. God Bless the Pilots for all their heroic efforts to save the lives of everyone on board.
Thanks for the video, I doubt we will ever get to know the real reason for the crash. The truth is economical at best in this part of the world. Prays for the deceased and hope those who have survived make a full recovery 🙏
Sure we will in great detail. It was a Brazilian airliner so Brazil will send investigators to analyse the data and voice recorder and collect all the maintenance logs. This is usually more than enough to see what happened, in top of that there is high definition video of the entire crash sequence to fill in any blanks and survivor testimonials as well as the physical evidence of the aircraft that while destroyed still had some parts largely intact. However an investigation takes time and the final report will likely come around in a year or so but there will probably be a preliminary report of it's relatively obvious, which it will likely be, at least what happened if not why.
@@use-oc4mj6n Looks like we already know although it's not fully confirmed but the sources are solid. It was shot down. Most likely by accident and may have been unable to communicate due to electronic warfare measures. A Pantsir-S seems to have been fired in the vicinty of the airliner after which is lost communications and suffered flight control issues. They probably thought they were downing a Ukrainian drone so it wasn't one of their big rockets and it didn't immediately break apart like MH17 which got hit by a big supersonic missile.
Other videos that show the empennage appears to indicate one side of the elevator in the up position, the other side neutral. It's beginning to look like a serious pitch control problem, which explains why the plane would climb, pause near a stall and then dive, repeatedly. Condolences.
IMAGINE BEING STRAPPED IN AND LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW AS THE PLANE FLEW LIKE A ROLLER COASTER RIDE KNOWING HOW IT WAS FINALLY GOING TO END, UNIMAGINABLE, AND THE TWO PILOTS STRUGGELING TO GAIN CONTROL UP TO THE FINAL MOMENT, A TERRIBLE CHRISTMAS FOR THEM ALL..RIP.
Why were there reports of a bird strike initially? This didn't make any sense considering how far they were into the flight and their altitude. Also, the deviation from the planned flight path makes no sense, other than perhaps the pilots were trying to fix the problem. Hopefully the black boxes will be recovered and shed some light on what happened.
Cause if was indeed a missile, it might have been a small one, and so the pilots would not know what exactly they impacted. And from what we know now, it tried to land on Grozny, so it was low.
Civilian pilots and aircraft don't have the same missile warning systems and experience to expect a missile that a military pilot and craft would have. They may not have realized the damage was from a missile considering how rare an event that is vs a bird strike which is common. Not like they could get out and look at the holes during flight or could anyone in the plane either.
@@sierramikekilo6925 Most likely the pilots saw a warning about reduced hydraulic system pressure after the cables were cut by the shrapnel, and may even have heard or felt some kind of impact, though that's by no means certain as the missile clearly exploded to the rear of the aircraft so they may have been unaware of what caused the issue, but ultimately the loss of hydraulic fluid pressure would make the aircraft uncontrollable. The pilots did a superb job of keeping the plane airborne for as long as they did, most likely by using the engine thrust controls to try to stabilise the pitch and yaw tendencies. The video footage just prior to the crash clearly shows a quite severe bank to the right during the final moments and in this you can easily see that the wing control surfaces are not configured for approach and landing (ie. no flaps or spoilers and no visible aileron operation - all consistent with a loss of hydraulics) The E190 has three more or less inependent hydraulic systems but a close proximity missile detonation could easily produce enough shrapnel to sever the cables running to all of them. While some military aircraft have arored hydralic lines, most civilian aircraft do not, because these kind of protections add considerable weight, which in turn produces a significant performance and efficiency penalty, and in many cases may not be completely effective in any case
27-Dec-2024 Update: I heard on the news this morning that the Russians claimed it was a bird strike. Of course, this makes sense now, the Russians lie about everything. The bird strike theory is just another case of "fake news".
One can only try to imagine the fearful thoughts of pilots, crew and passengers. For those died, may they rest in peace. For the survived, hopefully a new appreciation for life!
I would be more than interesting to find out who was on board and i mean not just names but an extensive enquiry profile and background investigation of all on board.
Yes, you are right. It happened in russian airspace right above Grozny. The aircraft was suddenly diverted and then it happened. There's a photo of plane wreckage with a distinctive damage from rocket. Russia trying to blame Ukrainian drones that operate in exact time above Grozny and denied allegations about their military missile involvement.
Look at the pilot blog by Denys Davydov. Theres photos of the rear fuselage looking like a pepper pot. Shrapnel by a russian surface-air missile by the looks, they lost hydraulics and became uncontrollable..
The Ukrainians shot down MH17 because they mistook it for Putin's presidential plane that is approximately the same size and has similar markings to Malaysia airlines and was known to be traveling through the same airspace at approximately the same time. They were attempting to kill Putin but shot down the wrong plane.
I watched the long video where the plane was flying in the sky for more than a minute circling to land. The pilot was trying to keep it straight and finally tried to reduce the speed while landing but could not slow it down and could not keep it straight .. the landing gear was down for a minute as well. .. looks like mechanical problem.
So very sad. Condolences to the families of the casualties, and I hope everyone involved gets the supports needed, to get through this terrible tragedy.🙏♥️
I have flying anxiety but I always hear the back of the plane is the safest to be and according to this video it looks to be true. I always usually sit in the back.
If you check further up in the comments, there's one from an expert on the subject. He(?) said that the centre of the plane is most likely to stay intact on impact, because it's built stronger in order to support the wings. However, the centre is above where the fuel tanks are situated, so not a good place to be in the event of a fire 😞. So it depends on what happens in a plane crash that determines where the safest place is. That doesn't really help, I know 😕.
@@c.marmion8430 In most cases, the rear is the safest place, but as you say there are always variables in this sort of thing but in the majority of air crashes, the tail section fares a little better than the rest
Look the images taken from the plane´s tail. A lot of holes...and one of the survivors have said about hearing a blast at the back of the plane during flight. Maybe a missile.
I've just seen a video from a pax who was on board, they had some serious damage to the fuselage and wings, either something exploded on the aircraft (mechanical failure) or in the aircraft (bomb) or it was shot at. Great job done by the crew. RIP

From watching this horrible accident, I am curious if the passengers can assist with the controlling the tilt of the plane just like a passenger on a motorcycle does when leaning the opposite of the tufn. Going on the left side for a plane towards the right and vis versa . as well as piling up in the rear to assist the tilting of the plane to land obviously only in distressed situations. ?🤔
There's a close-up video of the intact tail section from the crash site on social media. The vertical stabiliser and the horizontal stabiliser are peppered with dozens of small shrapnel holes. Ukraine is said to have hit Grozny with a kamikaze drone the same morning, so this was credibly a Russian air defense missile hitting the Azeri jet.
High appreciate to the pilot for their effort to bring back the plane to the earth, as I read in the aircraft speck , it should be no problem to fly the plane as it has Ram Air Turbine that can produce hydraulic pressure incase of engines flame out.
Someone in the comments said it couldn't be a bird because the problems occurred 2 hours after take-off, and the high altitude would therefore preclude a bird strike.

That's where the missile hit.
People survived that?!😮
People!
Looked exactly like American 232 crash in Soux City! Again with a good proportion of survivors!
I wonder where the majority of the survivors were sitting.

There are lots of videos on Instagram taken by passengers while airborne where you see damages on the left wing. Other videos show details of the tail area with penetrating holes that have burn marks.

Tail section video. It was definitely shot down.
Condolences to all who have loss love ones😢
Deepest condolences to those lost their lives. Quick recovery those survived.
Me on a 24 hours flight next Tuesday bit scary 😢
No such thing as a 24h flight
It looks like AHY8243 was in a phugoid during the crisis which indicates a complete loss of control like United 232 and OO-DLL. I also saw what looked like flak debris on the tail of the jet like on MH17. My best bet? It was shot down over Russia, and the pilots got their airplane as close to a safe landing as possible in Kazakhstan. If the plane was shot down, it would explain the loss of control since all the hydraulics are in the tail. If your hydraulics are shot out, controlling your plane is impossible!
Rip to all those who lost their lives.
Yes I agree, putin is a killer.
Shrapnel could easily be from the impact when it crashed
It's strange because Embraer e190 planes are safe planes (they have a low incident rate in the world), but it's tragic and this case needs to be caught by experts. God bless the passenger family.
That's the problem with your comment
Safety measures, no matter how robust, has no counter to a shootdown
Worse case if a military air defence is guilty of skill issue (incompetence)
Embraer E jets have a pretty good safety history, will be interesting to find out what went wrong
It's missiles
@joshuadala3508 didn't look like it was shot down (edit ok I guess it was because now there are reports of bullet holes or shrapnel damage)
@@juliogonzo2718yeah, hydraulic leakage due to shrapnel cut
R.i.p. a tutte le persone decedute nel disastro!🙏
This is a perfect example why I always sit near the rear end of a plane. The front breaks up and absorbs most of the impact. Depending on how it crashes like here.
That's usually good advice but in this case, it's reasonable to assume that those in the back may have taken a lot of the missile shrapnel
God Bless the Pilots for all their heroic efforts to save the lives of everyone on board.
who was onboard is the big question...
These videos help investigating plane crashes so much
Thanks for the video, I doubt we will ever get to know the real reason for the crash.
Russians shot it down there’s your reason
People are seeing lots of shrapnel. It was likely shot down. The plane was close to no fly zones because of Russia/ Ukraine war.
Fugoid movement seen before the crash. The crew appeared to do their best in a dire situation

Pictures show the aircraft suffered massive shrapnel damage, which is suspected to be caused by an anti-aircraft missile.
So why wasn't the plane blown out of the sky?
Yeah... that plane was shot down. Look at close-ups of the damage to the rear fuselage.
its control problems
@CoolMatin7034 Yeah, caused by missile damage to the tail and vertical stabilizer. ua-cam.com/users/shorts5SDocfh4KUI
Yet the plane shows no real damage such as a big hole when it's still flying, damage after the crash could be from parts of the plane hitting the tail
The video footage just prior to the crash clearly shows a quite severe bank to the right during the final moments and in this you can easily see that the wing control surfaces are not configured for approach and landing (ie. no flaps or spoilers and no visible aileron operation - all consistent with a loss of hydraulics)
The E190 has three more or less inependent hydraulic systems but a close proximity missile detonation could easily produce enough shrapnel to sever the cables running to all of them.
God bless from Scotland. RIP.
Condolences to the families!
Video taken since this was aired show the airliner was shot down.
Very sad day…. Mayday it is 😢😢
May they rip, to the survivors, speedy recovery ❤️🩹.
A bird strike to one or both engines is not causing hydraulic failure on a E190 so I really have a hard time believing that.
Plus someone further up in the comments said that it happened 2 hours after take-off, therefore the altitude would preclude a possible bird-strike.
WHO shot it down???
One can only try to imagine the fearful thoughts of pilots, crew and passengers. For those died, may they rest in peace. For the survived, hopefully a new appreciation for life!

Like the MH17 flight..
Putin men, devils
Why did you shoot the plane down then? Are you totally insane?
Yes, you are right. It happened in russian airspace right above Grozny. The aircraft was suddenly diverted and then it happened. There's a photo of plane wreckage with a distinctive damage from rocket. Russia trying to blame Ukrainian drones that operate in exact time above Grozny and denied allegations about their military missile involvement.
Look at the pilot blog by Denys Davydov. Theres photos of the rear fuselage looking like a pepper pot. Shrapnel by a russian surface-air missile by the looks, they lost hydraulics and became uncontrollable..
It happened today???
Thank You 🙏
Russia also shot down Malaysia Airlines MH17.
Dont fly over Russia is the message.
RIP. Those who died.
The pilot was trying to keep it straight and finally tried to reduce the speed while landing but could not slow it down and could not keep it straight .. the landing gear was down for a minute as well. .. looks like mechanical problem.

condolences, may all passengers survive in intensive care 😢😢

Denny does a better report..more details.
It was shot by russia
I feel so sad and ask God to protect His children always...😢
There's a close-up video of the intact tail section from the crash site on social media. The vertical stabiliser and the horizontal stabiliser are peppered with dozens of small shrapnel holes. Ukraine is said to have hit Grozny with a kamikaze drone the same morning, so this was credibly a Russian air defense missile hitting the Azeri jet.
So why did it continue flying rather than breaking up after it was hit?
It was shotdown tsk tsk RIP to the families
High appreciate to the pilot for their effort to bring back the plane to the earth, as I read in the aircraft speck , it should be no problem to fly the plane as it has Ram Air Turbine that can produce hydraulic pressure incase of engines flame out.
Shrapnel on the Tail and rear wing...... Russian air controllers say a bird???
Someone in the comments said it couldn't be a bird because the problems occurred 2 hours after take-off, and the high altitude would therefore preclude a bird strike.
