can't wait for you cavers to get the new quantum compasses being developed for the military. More accurate than GPS and can be used in high electronic interference zones(modern battlefields), or underground where you can't get a GPS signal. Should allow you guys to make on-the-go 3d maps of the places you visit so you don't get lost and can see what is above you and how close you are to other passages you all ready visited on previous trips.
One thing I really enjoy is all the positive energy and communication. When you get a group of guys together like this, you usually have one or more who wants to argue or be negative about everything. I think it’s a testosterone thing. But…you guys are all supportive of one another and generally agreeable with each other. It’s just really cool to see that dynamic amongst tomorrow’s leaders!
Much appreciated, Edward and I do communicate very well. Glad to have a friend like him to explore these places. Makes the shared experience so much better, and better for the audience to know where our heads are at as well. We ain't no leaders, but we will lead the way through caves haha.
holy moley! had to stop a few times - this is the stuff which will give me nightmares!!! you guys are BRAVE for going into spaces like that! not a 10.000 $ reward would make me go in! nopedy nope!
man the cavernous cavernocity of that cavern was NUTS. Frightening to think that right under our feet, there could be a gaping hole in the earth even half that size waiting to swallow our homes and buildings. Thank goodness you guys didn't run into a Balrog down there.
Every time I watch one of your videos I can only picture the beginning of a horror movie, lol. You guys be safe and keep adventuring for us unable to do so!
6:31 That pit (water flowing into) looked cool. It's interesting for me to see treks (like yours) thru limestone caves. The caves we have here are usually lava tunnels. (Wich are really cool too, btw.) Had there been a lake like the one you jumped into, it would have been near 0° C ! 😅 Happy caving, guys (spelunking)??? -Cheers from Iceland -K.
You should check out Batcave on Kimbell Ranch South of Carnegie, West of Apache and East of Cooperton Oklahoma. There are fish without eyes in that cave.
This was so very cool to see! Have you considered using a half rope or twin rope in places such as this, in case the main rope gets damaged or breaks? Legit curious. Seems like an awesome hobby. :)
Asking because I am genuinely curious, how did you know the water was safe enough to submerge in, wouldn't there be a chance it had a high level of something you don't want in your body?
@@Loon969 In caves that really isn’t a really a concern like it is in mines. The biggest danger in cave water usually is pollutants and chemical leaks from above (like don’t cave below a golf course that sprays pesticides). Also organic matter in the water that decays into methane and hydrogen sulfide gas if there isn’t good air flow which would kill you from breathing not swimming in it.
@@CaveChronicles You do have to look out for CO2 and methane, although I’ve never encountered either. I hope I never do, because I might not notice in time!
First, a compass. Second, that's why you NEVER do this kind of thing ALONE!! Too many loners have died doing this. Also, they have cell phones and flashlights, so they are immortal.
Pits like that, you want to make sure people know where you went, and more than 2 might be a good idea as well. I’d want to make sure my ass-enders work, wet and muddy! That’s a looong drop!
How so? Especially when the landowner let us park in his driveway and was expecting us to be out by sunrise. By your logic nobody should ever go in caves tbh.
@@CaveChronicles I couldn't bring myself to put my life in someone elses hands, that isnt a close relative or a..."closest of friends". but you do you for sure.

You guys are freaking nuts!
i don't know how i ended up here, it's so scary to watch but i can't stop???? so cool
That 280 ft drop is insane, but looks so exhilarating! So cool, man. Thanks for sharing the journey.
That big room is just incredible. When you turn on the really bright light and it barely illuminates the far wall, that’s impressive!

That would be such a game changer!!!
Lets Go!
This cave is scary amazing.
watch that footing.

Journey to the center of the earth. God's creation is incredible.

water takes offense at that comment

I had a moment of panic after the descent into the pit. “How are they going to get back up?!” I don’t understand spelunking at all. Such a noob.
22:34 Is the best "Hag Stone" I have ever seen. ♥
Found this channel randomly! Keep up the good work. 😅
WOOHOO 🎉🙌
I’ve caved about a dozen times, in upstate NY, in caves very much like these! Sometimes we went at night, and sometimes in the winter!
I'm glad you did that because there's no way I would crawl down in that thing. No way.
Great video love your exploration stay safe Nice caven.
15:43 “wiggly mud” is so damn cool 😎
That decent on the rope is crazy
That took some balls man

The hole in the rock looked like a cup holder for thirsty cavers. Lol
Explore and be safe. ✨

YEAH BUDDY!

It’s groundwater, about as clean, except for washed-in stuff, as the water coming out of your tap.

In 6:50 it should be Devil's Anus.
that perfectly drilled out.
Watching this is like watching a horror movie with occasional beautiful scenes
Amazing- you guys are gutsy! How can you know you are not crawling into some dead end trap!
if it's a dead end you just gotta turn around lol, the caves have been kind to me so far.
Bro stay safe it’s more scary video
Now I know, if I ever find a rope in a cave, just assume it is a community rope.
Be careful with those especially when climbing from the bottom. We have climbed a few that were like mostly sawed through at the top once we got up.
22:40 and 23:15 what’s the black stuff accumulated there??? Why did so much of it filter out there (and not elsewhere)??
This is insane! How do they keep from getting lost? If they should fall and break a arm or leg, what then?
First, a compass. Second, that's why you NEVER do this kind of thing ALONE!! Too many loners have died doing this. Also, they have cell phones and flashlights, so they are immortal.
Where are all these caves?
dude talked so casually about getting lost in an underground maze
I was down there a good 20mins lol. Cut most of it out because wasn't very interesting. It was quite a maze though.
Any megalithic structures?
This is so scary 🫣

Goonies mode
All that water must have an outlet??
The water table I'm guessing.
At some point, and for a long time, there was a lot more water in that 'waterfall'. Next time I'm homeless, I'm heading for a cave!
I feel like im seeing petrified mammal innerds, on a grand scale. So cool. 💪😎 This comment is for entertainment purposes only.🤫
so fucking cool
Wanna get baptized down there. Think my pastor could make it?
Is that all gold
😂
Let’s go caving on mars bring your dark matter powered flashlight 🔦
Do they ever find gold or platinum something to take home to mama or papa 👴
8:40 that doesnt look good to breathe ahhh
That's just fog/water vapor from the waterfall.
Not for the claustrophobic!
Head gear ???
minecraft after the cave update be like:
dont you fear a sudden collapse? I mean, one rock, even a relatively small one, could block an exit.
That would be a bad day
Little did they know, they were not the only thing alive down there...
crayfish
Needs a hole in the roof and it's a moon pool.
pretty foolish for ALL 3 to descend into that pit.

are you ever concerned about oxygen?
Isn't it not a good idea to put your head under that water?
What state is this cave located in?
The state of AWESOME 🤘🏼
State of your mom's house
