      Yes, but also no.
The original idea for General Grievous was to make him a "Jedi Terminator," which is why they made this version so OP. However, as development for ROTS continued, George changed his mind. George wanted to change things up and do something new rather than make yet another super intimidating villain, so he decided to make Grievous more like the mustache twirling villains from the Saturday morning TV shows he used to watch.

The droids are Programmed for anti-lightsaber combat. Clearly they missed programming them for how to fight/counter attacks from their own staff weapons and they are having to fall back on some generic combat protocols that just arent a match for a jedi swinging said staff. In reference to the question about why some clones are better than others...at least when it comes to the ARC Troopers, those clones were personally trained by Jango Fett. They are far more creative, independent, and deadly than your average clone trooper (who were already amazing combat troops). The only one that was closer to the original than them was Boba, Jango's son.

He still marries padme she still gets pregnant he still wouldn't talk about it except to maybe, and that's a big maybe, Kenobi. All of which still inevitably leads to his decision. Although I like Anakin from the Movies.
Because unlike Luke who grows and matures... Anakin in each movie gets crazier and crazier and gets closer to the Dark Side, although he doesn't want to be bad, sadly he has to do it because he knows he has no choice... he's already done enough Crimes and Know that there is no turning back.
But the Anakin of the 2003 and 2008 Series was always the Era where the Character was at his Best Moment.
A Hero who was growing, but at the same time you could tell he wasn't well... The Dark Side was always in him, and it didn't matter if he wanted to deny it... he knew it was true.

If Qui-Gon didn't die in Episode 1. He would've been Anakin's master. In this what if scenario Anakin would've learned to trust The will of the force. In this scenario I don't even see how Anakin falls to the dark side. Qui-Gon's teachings would've given Anakin the tools to see through Palpatine's manipulation. I also think Mace Windu would've been a great master for Anakin. I think Anakin needs a hard-ass no bullshit kind of master to lessen his worse tendencies. Anakin could've learned how to control and focus his emotions. Eventually, he'd learn Vaapad.

They are the second generation of ARC troopers and were trained directly by Jango Fett himself, meaning the are some of the best around, besides the Null ARC troopers (the first generation of ARC troopers, only 6 of those were successfully made, but that's another rabbit hole).

I actually watched this series for the first time a few years ago and I was blown away by it!
    - The story is great and transitions near flawlessly into Revenge of the Sith.
    - The action is awesome and there's so much of it!
    - Character interactions between Obi-Wan and Anakin during the second half are pretty fun to watch.
    - Grievous is a beast! Like that scene of him battle Ki-Adi Mundi and the other Jedi was insane!
    - The Jedi Council scene actually makes it feel like a council. Like in every other movie or show where the council is on screen it always seems like it's only 2 or 3 people talking. Here, nearly everyone on the council gets a voice line and there is actual discussion between members. I honestly wish we got to see more of that but eh, what can you do.
A do have a few nitpicks:
    - I'm a bit mixed on some of the character designs (Windu and Palpatine in particular), though the overall art style and animation still look amazing
    - While the action is badass, there are a few moments that seem a bit over the top like WIndu karate chopping droids with his bare hands or him driving a droid fighter by ripping into its wiring. Badass, sure but like a bit much IMO.
But none of that comes even close to ruining this version of the Clone Wars for me, this show is awesome!

This also puts a LOT of context as to why the Council was concerned about making Anakin a Master - not just because the man himself was unorthodox, but he only finished his Padawan-to-Knight requisite Trial of the Mirror DAYS BEFOREHAND AT MOST.
And they all emphasize, his skills were never the part in doubt. He hadn't had the time to properly go through the mental training. You see both ends of the argument getting addressed at the start of Part 2, by Mundi and 'Curly Claws.'

The clones that had colourful armour plus that kilt or skirt-like cover (called a kama) and behaved differently were Advanced Recon Commando (ARC) Troopers. These were clones given more advanced training by Jango Fett himself to make them more independent and quick-thinking. In the case of Captain Fordo shown in this cartoon (the red one with dual pistols), the guy was a one-man army even if alone. And this isn't even mentioning the even more powerful Null-Class ARCs.

This show was part of the original Star Wars Multimedia Project, a comprehensive and coordinated series of shows, comics, video games, and books set during the clone wars and all tied in with one another and with the deeper Star Wars Lore. For example, in one of the Videogames, Anakin encounters the holocron of a Jedi from the Great Hyperspace War, and the BBEG of the Star Wars Legacy comics had his origins in the Clone Wars Comics as a fellow apprentice fighting alongside Anakin.
Critics of Filoni's TCW note that his show threw all of that out, as It had been established that the Council didn't trust Anakin due to his erratic behavior, and only reluctantly knighted him towards the end of the war, while TCW had him knighted immediately following Geonosis and given an apprentice to care for.

The reason the Jedi are portrayed so well here is that the writers weren't actively trying to tear them down as a cheap "look how worldly an cynical we are by showing that the heroes suck!" kind of tactic. They also weren't trying to prop up their pet characters by shitting on the Council the way Dave Filoni does in basically every show he makes. It turns out that when writers and producers stop actively trying to bash the heroes of the setting, those heroes actually end up being pretty, well, heroic.

Hands down the greatest Star War. Absolute peak. Every single frame is perfection. The animation style massages all the wrinkles from my brain. One of my all time favorite pieces of media of any type

I was so angry when they de-canonized this, it was brutal, simple and breaththaking, dammit, it's still canon in my heart of hearts.

This is where a lot of peoples love for Windu started. In the canon (which has changed a few times mind you) he uses a form of fighting known as Vaapad where he channels his passions into physical attacks just as much as force attacks, much like a sith would. The form is banned from the jedi order because it brings the user so close to the edge of the dark side. This was also at one time an explaination for his purple lightsaber, that he fought with both the light and dark sides and his sword reflected that duality and restraint.
Fun fact, Dooku is so good against lightsaber users like ventress (and obi and anakin in the movies) because he also uses a, not forbidden, but frowned upon lightsaber combat form. His form specializes in fighting sword to sword where most other forms focus on fighting projectiles, blasters and other weapons. It was frowned upon, because with the sith in hiding for a thousand years, the only use for that form would normally be fighting other jedi. And, why would you need to fight jedi unless you were doing bad things.

I remember being a kid watching this show. The wolf man Jedi was actually a community voted character out of three to make a camio in the show. You could go online and put your vote in for the show. All of this was a hype/lead up into Episode III. I remember leaving the movie theature being sad, because I thought that there would never be any more Star Wars Movies.

If we're poking around in now non-canon prequel content, highly recommend the game Republic Commando

Well, Delta Squad specifically is canon, so their game is canon too as a result.

The big armored guy who laughs when Obi-wan stabs him with his lightsaber is not dead, his species is kind of a head with a body made out of independently growing and regenerating cords of muscle and other bits that can function as various organs on demand. In short you need to take out the head to be sure and preferably most of the rest of one to reliably kill them. Note how the helmet was empty? No head to be seen? Yeah Durge (the name of the guy) got away.

So, in case nobody has said it, the giant guy in the armor that Obi-Wan fought is the bounty hunter Durge. Durge is a Gen'Dai, a species that was thought to be immortal by many in the galaxy. They don't have bones (except for large fangs) and were essentially just formless jumbles of corded muscle and nerve bundles; they would typically inhabit armor made for humanoids to give them a form. They also didn't have many of the organs other species relied on, including hearts and lungs. They had extremely acute senses, so much so that they could feel a human's heartbeat from 200 meters away, and their average lifespan was between 4000 and 7000 years. Durge actually survives that fight with Obi-Wan. There were only two ways a Gen'Dai could be killed: complete vaporization or incineration of the body, or destroying their brain, since the brain was the only aspect of their bodies that couldn't be fully regenerated. In Legends, in order to kill Durge, Anakin had to lure him into an escape pod on his ship and use the Force to steer it into a star near the end of the Clone Wars.
