As a 68 yr old guy to a younger dude, I am a little envious, ok, a lot envious. You are living the dream. Do the things you love while you are young is the best advice I can give anyone.
have you ever thought about getting a few cans of white rustolium and touching up your legs? you just need to get some old news paper and masking tape or even cut the sides of some large trash bags open to cover your camper itself with around the legs so you dont over spray, and wait for a windless calm day. Its how I touched up the rust spots in my pick up bed. better do it before they rust all the way though.
Lol, my 2022 10-2 has the tank sizes u read off. Some things they keep that obviously works well over the years but I noticed in pictures in my manual for the wet bay, things do change over the years as the pics don't look like mine lol! Very cool original owners kept the original brochure! Loving how u love your new home lol 👍🏼🍻
Love it when I get a camper and all the manuals are with it! The bathrooms on the new ones are a lot nicer! As they should be with better design as the years go on! 🍻
@@KevinWaldsAdventuresI just picked up a 2006 26 ft Nash trailer, and the elderly guy gave me a thick binder full of everything since purchase. So cool to have the original trailer brochure, and all the appliances and accessory stuff too. 👍
This is really cool! I have seen some camper based living videos but none for a truck bed camper. You also doing this in Canada is a good sign, as I am over here in Alberta and thinking about doing this. The camper is great and I am definitely gonna stick around to see more. P.S. My family bought those hashbrowns, they are pretty good we use them for camping.
Our basement storage has a pullout drawer the length of the cupboard. You can store so much stuff , with the less used up front and a handle to pull it out really makes it easy
Awesome tour,..very spacious...i like slide out Pantry, enought room in there to add a second shelf, if need....and the big windows, opens it up...nice an bright.
New Minnesota subscriber here. "Kenny of all Trades: Staring Toby" recommended your channel. Looking forward to seeing your adventures. Love your truck camper!
Great video. Thanks for the tour, you have a beautiful home. I’m happy to see you’re no longer feeling like you did in your last video. You’re in a great position to go anywhere. You can follow good jobs, good weather great landscapes in any combination. You’ll be just fine.
Fantastic Kevin, so glad you are thrilled with your new home and setup. LoL, give it a couple year's and you'll be packed down, it's easy to do living in small spaces. I'm doing my build currently on my G20 Chevy Van. It's turning out awesome 👍. Slowly getting it done with such heat recently, I used to live in a Van & several off grid properties as well. I cannot wait to hit the road again ! Canada is so beautiful there ! Take care & be safe.
Love the truck camper and it's nice that you don't have too much stuff cluttering it up. I like the open look of it. I am thinking of starting a channel, as well, but I am somewhat shy when it comes to talking to a camera, lol...
Thank you for the details about the different NL models of this era. I learned. I'm looking for a 4 season rig for my truck. but it being a 3/4 ton 6.5 bed there are limits. I didnt know that the lighter models werent as well insulated or as tall inside. and Im a big SOB.
I like to mention Kennedy of all trades because he incorporated truck problems issues that have to fix and how yet he’s manages to over come these thing I would need help with to fix.
Good video, but try to change the focal length (depth of field) so your focal plane will be deeper. This way the things you show won't be out of focus. Just trying to help. Good luck with your new adventure!
Ok, 3 junk drawers and a 1/4 filled closet. None of the cabinets are more than half filled. You see a tour of a couples truck camper and it's stuffed to the max.
Lol!! U r soooo right. And many have slides too, they get the biggest truck camper they can find, stuff ever crook n cranny, can't even use their showers, some not even the dang toilet cause the whole thing is jammed with junk 🙄. N kevin has 3 itty bitty junk drawers lol, love it! 🍻
It’s okay off road, the last camper and the one before that (smaller) did better but this is bigger and much more comfortable, I was finding myself not going to extreme places with my other ones anyways as I’m usually alone. Basically I wont be rock crawling with it but can still climb a fsr going up a mountain 🏔️

Zactly. Life can change after 65.
49 going on 50 in a few weeks
And realized this is what I want to do!!
Want to live !!
Kenny of All Trades mentioned your channel on his latest video. It's nice to find another channel to enjoy! Thank you 🎉!

I’m pulling them off this week to give them some tlc 😂
Love your new camper!.
If only my Tundra would carry one of these. Time to truck shop!
The new ones are modern and all but I prefer the wood tones in yours. It makes it look more elegant, cozy and homie, I don’t know just my taste.
I really enjoy the color of the wood in the older ones aswell, very cozy feeling inside!

Just start! You’ll get better as you go!
Thx for the tour and inspiration. Hope you're having a great time so far
First time seeing a guy live in a camper with a journal! Foresty Forest might have one but I haven’t seen it. 😁 Thanks for the tour 👏
Nice video was looking into some of these myself
i have a '86 'pilgrim' camper with brochures also. Im gutting it & building to my specs as it was like trying to live in a dollhouse.
Awesome new truck camper.
Thanks for the detailed tour Kevin! Great info. Always looking forward to your videos 😊
Nice Pad

check out a 2006+ 8-11 queen classic, same layout and shouldn't be much more weight than 2000lbs dry
@@KevinWaldsAdventures thank you I am definitely targeting that. The hunt will get serious once the weather turns here in the PNW

Wait…how do you cheat at Uno ? …asking for my friend…😂 Those campers have so much headroom over the bed ! ! Lucky duck ! 🤙
😂
Awesomeness! Excellent choice and video brother. New sub here.
Nice camper 🍀🍀🍀🍀
Thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I downloaded it when you first uploaded. I can see it was re-uploaded, lol.
lol yes it ended up being corrupt, should be good now
Are you ever going to do a US trip?
What are the details for that bike rack system? Love it much more than the other ladder bike mounts online
I think I seen your old one on marketplace, would’ve got her but I’m 6’4 I need a 10-2

Great video, but when are you gonna paint those jacks up 😂
😂 it’s on the list, hopefully in the fall before winter ❄️
@@KevinWaldsAdventures right on, watching from Burnaby bc
Can you please paint the jacks.
So sweet! How does it do off road?

@@KevinWaldsAdventures Gotcha, thank you!! The grey area between FSR and rock crawling is where we struggle!
new to your video’s. but you have your camera zoomimg to
wide on you. it shuts out everything else in your shot
Does your camper have a bathroom
Yes
You have very pretty eyes
