What I've noticed is the lack of wildlife at least in BC,....no Squires or rabbits. Not much in the way of deer either. Has anyone else noticed that.

I’ve noticed we have an abundance of deer that like to run in front of the truck in Alberta, I stopped driving at night just for that reason! Bc seems to be a lot less deer but I’ve seen way more bears there.

cool video .... I deliver methanol to well sites in the Rocky Mountain House area so I'm off road most of the time in remote areas. Not on the trunk road but all around it. I've seen some wicked camping spots with cell service that no one but myself and a few others even know about.

Sad to hear how the unnecessary and over use of the words "like" and "super" while speaking have made their way up to you guys too.

Anytime I can be by a river or lake and hear the rushing or lapping water then truly I am at my happiest. I love people but I’m my happiest when I’m alone and in a peaceful place. I’m guessing you are too. Have a great, brother. Dave

I've been rving full time for almost 10 years and I can tell you as an absolute, you are never safe. What you are is unaware of what danger is possible or likely. You can only change the area you're staying if it has a higher or lower instance of crime. That doesn't make you safe, it only lowers the likelihood that something will happen to you. But even in a low crime area, read the police blotter for the night before in that area. Unbelievable things happened somewhere in that area, just not to or near you. Should you be paranoid? Yes. Paranoia, if not clinical, is merely hyper awareness. Be hyper aware if you don't like the "sound" of paranoid. But know, they are the same thing. Just to let you know, I've had nothing happen to me in these past 10 years.

That was a schizophrenic that slipped into psychosis - that is when they go on stabbing spree's etc, always call police. That said, walmarts are too busy to stay at IMO, busiest parking lots in town. Get all the apps and use those options instead, the US has cracker barrels that are WAY better than walmarts, stayed at 5-6 of them last winter

I agree, I’m local here and stay for convenience, 1 min stroll to my gym in the morning, Then a 10 min drive to work. I have a lot of other spots but this is too convenient and it’s a small town Walmart in northern Alberta, find lots of travelers heading to Yukon/alaska.
