So I did the math... for me located in Germany, the price would be (already discounted) €39.49 inc. Shipping! If I go to my local Hockey Store and ask for a Cheap Composite Stick, I´ll end up getting a cheap Sher-Wood one for 38,99€ So please tell me, why should I buy this product? Even though I like the idea, it´s cheaper for me to get new sticks once they´re done, AND I am supporting my local hockey store... so yeah....
Would you recommend this as add on to play in a sport court or painted cement rink in playing roller hockey with? Been using an abs blade forever but I love my ice sticks just a tad bit more.
If you didnt know if you only stickhandle at home you can go to home depot and they have those big sheets of that white stuff (dont know what its called) And if you put a little pledge on it acts as fake ice. (use lemon pledge to get the mosquitoes away)
I have a wraparound Ice and ive used it on two sticks for quite a while and ive noticed that when i took it off there were scratches wherever it touched the stick. Im pretty upset because it has scratched up two of my sticks :(
Just s heads up yall I was told that this wraparound was meant to not have tape all the way up and down its length like the pro. This is to allow the wraparound to simulate ice.
Is this more durable than the metal one? I bought the metal wraparound and after one hour of rollerhockey (smooth asphalt surface) several of the "teeth" were broken off. Didnt scratch my stick yet, but not keen on using it again.
For about the price I get for this wrap around, I can get a good low end stick like an Easton Synergy 450. Playing three days a week on concrete I know I can get 5 weeks or so out of Easton stick before the blade is trash. How long would the wrap around last me in comparison?
Great video, I like the drone footage. I just ordered my wrap-around ice. BTW who ever said homosexuals were not allowed to play hockey? Why are we waging imaginary wars? There is plenty of real injustice in the world we can be fighting.

I remember I had a tournament a month or so after the pulse attack and our coach actually made us use that pride tape on our sticks #hockeyisforeveryone
Can we leave politics and LGBT out of hockey, if your playing while being gay or a trans etc that's great for you. But to have the idea that coming out is a heroic and courageous thing is basically assuming everyone is a homophobe and dosen't want them inside the game. Which is not the case but when TSN spends a half hour on a transgender hockey player instead of showing you the game highlights from last night you can understand why they are a little angry to see you supporting a cause that is insinuating that everyone is a homophobe inside the game.
Loved the review, as always, but pride tape? I don't have any problem with anyone's Sexual preference, and neither do most people. You don't have to make a small group of people's individual preferences everybody's business.

It just makes me not want to watch hockey with my 8 year old son not because I'm homophobic but because it's not a proper conversation to have with such a young kid who has not gone through puberty it's fucked up

DJDoener imagine the trees cut for a woden stick, they aren't so good and the blade will scrape off very fast! so i would recommend the wraparound
Thats why I wrote Composite Stick... no wood, just plastic. I bet the Wrap Around will fade as fast as the blade on my stick.
DJDoener it's preference but if it's local shops maybe yeah if you play roller hockey
