I contacted Bauer about the 88 curve version last week, and they said it will NOT be made for the 88 curve. The 88 curve is moving to only custom soon, is what they told me. The 28 blade protector fits the 88 curve nicely (testing it myself right now), better than the 92.
Question: any idea if that p28 blade protector fit/work for p29 curve? I know Bauer doesn’t make a p29 protector yet, but curious since they’re relatively similar if it’d still work/fit in some regard
They Make one for the p28 and p92 curve. The P92 curve is whats closest to p29 but not guaranteed to fit as the p28 I got didn't fit on CCM and Sherwood (But did on True)
No I mean this exact thing has existed many years and hasn’t improved lol. Just because you didn’t know about it doesn’t make you right buddy. If having BAUER stamped on it makes you feel like it’s any better than existing ones and/or doesn’t come from the same factory in China as any other brand, more power to ya. 😂
Mine as held up for about two months and still going strong. Taken about 2000 shots. I practice in an outdoors public concrete basketball court.
they look good, pretty awesome to be able to install and remove that easy. hope they hold up as well as Wraparounds!
Yeah that's the one thing I'll have to take some time to test out!
I think the curve pattern is where the wrap around went wrong. It had too many gaps on most sticks.
Agreed. It's nice to have a one size fits all approach, but it came with it's shortcomings.
Going to get some for roller hockey this season.
What a beauty
How long would this thing last on asphalt?
I just got mine so I'll be testing it out over the next month before outdoor rink season
Where did you get the skates???
Where you at the sens skills competition??
why no p88 curve
Lol you know why.
no i dont@
They just aren't as popular I guess. I rarely see any kids in my camps with them anymore.
@@PavelBarber that sucks, its a really good curve imo

This product sounds like something I’m going to be using a lot🌚🌚🌚
Isn't the whole fun of Hockey Busting a Blade tho and your less likely to break a blade
@@brandonmiksell4580 no it’s not, it’s actually really unfun to get used to a blade and then have to get a new one.
I played Hockey for 15 years and yes I agree it's a bitch to break in a new blade I always felt like a million bucks after breaking a Blade in a Game
@@brandonmiksell4580 then why did you say the whole fun of hockey is to break a blade lol
Cause I had fun doing it
so sick!
Biggest question is how long does it last
Yeah that will be a very big deal. I will continue to test it and find out.

They do
Thank you!!

Any updates on how long this lasted?
You should try using a lefty stick for fun
can you use on ccm stick
Is it as bulky as the wrap around?
Definitely not as bulky. Contours the blade far better.
Amazing thanks.@@PavelBarber
What Nike skates do you have?
what r those skates my guy?
I believe their custom "Nikes" thru coast 2 coast hockey
I wonder if this will work on my W28 curve
Yeah I didn't have a warrior. It didn't fit on Sherwood/CCM versions well. But it did fit on Trues version. The Sherwood/CCM ones are shorter
I imagine it would because it fit well on my W88 senior curve even thought it's not meant for 88
Im gonna be getting one bc the wrap arounds didnt fit my 50 flex at the time for reference i use a 65 now
Edit: what pucks does he use?
Green biscuits I believe
This product vs. the Wraparound
Do you think it would work on a w88 curve
Bauer does make them for curves, 28, 88, 92; but they are unique to each blade.
I have a true twig, what curve would I get
It works on true sticks just match the curve
TC4. It fit on mine.
Cries in CCM p29
W video
I use this at the ice rink but it melts the ice

These have existed for years but ok
That's like saying hockey sticks existed 100 years ago lol. Things improve. No one said it was a new invention

Any update on the durability? @PavelBarber
I’m looking to buy one soon :)
