I really am impressed at the engineering that went into your shack. Impressive how all of your equipment fits into their cubby holes, the zones for sound, radio, power/antenna. The balance of placement and wire management for all of the ancillary components. The clean installation of your tower. Placement of clocks and dual use monitors are brilliant. We have all seen some great shacks. Your shack sir, is the pinnacle of anything I have ever seen on the tube.
Welcome to the hobby. I got licensed back around 1986 so my station is a result of just being in the hobby quite a while and growing with it over that time. My shack I built whilst I was poorly and just done it bit by bit over a 2 year period and completed it a few years ago. Thanks for viewing one of my vids. James G0SEC.
Well it doesn't have anything to do with my neighbours really I was here 20 years before them and they moved in next door but both neighbours I have have no issues. My antenna system is never an issue really.
You have the coolest shack I have ever seen. So clean and the equipment is placed so perfectly, also the amount of equipment you have is just fantastic. What kind of engineering it takes to manage all of this. Superb Ham Shack!
Martin Lynch must love you,. Just look at all that state of the art stuff you have, I wonder what it will look like in 5 years time ? With all that stuff you would hear stations that very few hams would hear.. Thanks for letting me see inside your showroom..
Among all these fancy equipment, I am most fascinated with his Baofeng UV-82 dual band VHF/UHF analog handheld transceiver, which is to the right end of the desk, and G0SEC was just too modest to showcase it. I am just kidding. Very nice video and thanks for sharing. 73
Very nice to see you back ,you are a credit and a inspiration to all us ham radio enthusiasts .Your station is defently on another level .we'll done .Best regards Mick ,M6CFX .
Hi James wow that shack is amazing mate nice to hear from you and I’m glad you feeling better in your health welldone on the shack it’s took a long time but well worth it 73s James and all the best buddy enjoy and thanks for the video really enjoyed it
Great setup, would you mine providing a list of parts, the radios are obvious, but all the other supporting electronic pieces, which you have so beautifully mounted and in such perfect order.
You have a Golden Opportunity to leave a legacy of a world-renowned "The Ham Shack Golden Standard", how many folks are screen capturing and downloading your transcript to capture your amazing efforts? Challenge: Document with schematic, block diagram and P/N (user should do the leg work to invest themselves). Thank you for all the years of effort for our enjoyment.
You've clearly gone where no amateur station has ever gone before. Wowsie is a good operational word here! You're clearly ready for intergalactic communication with anyone that may be out there. This is really what a "ham shack" should look like. Bravo on what you've done. I could watch this demo all day. Has ARRL or RSGB seen this - if not, they certainly need to do so. Worthy of a front cover as well as a feature article. Best 73 to you - W2FKN
As a newbie this is pretty wild. I talked to a guy in Austria the other day though with my 991a and a homemade dipole antenna so I’m happy. Very fun hobby but very daunting
Hang in there Ham Shack man. You will eventually graduate to a full Ham Shack with all of the nifty toys. I remember when I only had a few gadgets. I am also sorry you received a severely bent monitor. It seems to be working, though. Give yourself a few more years and keep saving those pennies...you will get there. Cheers mate.
Very impressive. Beyond me all that Technology. Recently got back into Radio. Most of my old kit was valves. All sold years ago. My pension doesnt stretch far these days so gone minimalist with QRP making stuff from scrap. Love the aerials. For me speaker wire and a home made vertical from a garden table plastic leg as a former for the coil. Cheers from old George ( mick) G1BKI 🤠👍🇬🇧
It must have took a lot of planning and and hard work to get to this point. Absolutely outstanding! But I sure wish I could’ve had a better look at the force 12 and the rest of you aluminum sculpture in the sky. Best to 73s W5PN
I don't have anything close to what you have. My knowledge base does not come close to what you have. Congratulations!! I'm surprised you haven't had trouble from your neighbors concerning your antenna tower. Such a small yard and yet you fit everything in. Impressive!! Seeing your setup reminds me of an old joke: H.A.M = has adequate money!!
Wow just a very big WOW 😮 the shack of what dreams are made of. Amazing, WOW. Hope you get well/better soon. Thank you for sharing. I’ve got to say it again WOW. 🤤 73’s to you and family 🤙🤙🤙 M7COV

Sir I LOVE that desk! I hope you don’t mind, but I reversed engineered it and am planning on building one for my shack. I hope you don’t mind and take it as a compliment. Thanks.
Your shack is fantastic. All of the shacks in your videos are fantastic. I moved a couple of months ago and still haven't finished the shack or putting up all the antennas. I want to put up at satellite antenna at least for RX. My main radio is a Yaesu FT-847 which has satellite functions. Nice to see another video from you. I wish you well. 73 DE KK6FVP
Excellent as ever James...its took a while but by god it was worth the wait. I was quite happy with my little set up until i saw yours ! LOL.....Hopefully catch you somewhere on the bands...Take care mate...Mark m0mco
So this is what jealousy feels like. As a bonafide tech junkie, I appreciate how much effort you applied to this project. Not only are you using top-tier equipment, the attention to detail with your blueprint layout it’s remarkably ergonomic. It gave me some great ideas, so thanks for posting.
I really enjoyed your video of amazing radio shack. I've never seen such a perfect radio room well organized. I can say "a dream radio shack" Especially I'm interested in your audio processing devices such a dbx ....etc. I hope to see you on the air soon. de HL1SB

Unreal. Just starting, so this is aspirational.

Just amazing… I can appreciate the amount of work that went into that, well done!
I can only imagine how long it too you to wire all the equipment together, test it and then cable manage everything. Well done.
Well it doesn't have anything to do with my neighbours really I was here 20 years before them and they moved in next door but both neighbours I have have no issues. My antenna system is never an issue really.

While certainly nicely done, this shack certainly isn't that unusual. It's just equipment in a custom desk. Yeesh.
Yes it's been in a few magazines already
As a newbie this is pretty wild. I talked to a guy in Austria the other day though with my 991a and a homemade dipole antenna so I’m happy. Very fun hobby but very daunting
Amazing! I was wondering what had happened to you. Glad to see you are still on the bands. All the best, John 2E0SVB.

Nice looking shack. You need a beautiful begali key on the desk and maybe an az el rotor for linear sats.
Pretty cool shack 😮 blue light is not so healthy though
