I’d be cool if you could make this a series. You do so much great coaching content and so much great golfing vlog content, it seems like a great blend. Some guys will do one here and there but if this gets lots of views and you feel it’s worth your time, I’d definitely watch and it could be a fun niche to carve out and promote your school.
As a high handicapper, a lot of this is a bit ahead of me, but I loved how you used the scorecard index, planned tee shots based on shot shape, and demonstrated different chip shots around the green. Great insights and definitely something to keep in mind for the future. Inspiring work! Thank you
I hate to be that guy but 9 holes simply doesn't mean the same as 18 as far as breaking 80 goes; the food/bathroom break on the turn, waiting on another member, or the group in front of you on 10 that was slowed as well.......something changes from 9 to 10. I'm a 13 index and cant even count how many times I've shot 39-41 on the front 9 and gone on to shoot 85+, there's something to being close to that 80 benchmark that effects your game. For a double digit index golfer, breaking 80 is the holy grail and basically takes our best days to do it.
Very nice, Hemingway played very well, I would be most concerned about his not accelerating on putts, he could have shot 4-5 strokes better - get the ball TO/past the hole!
I think you should play Hemmingway a 1 v 1 match with his entitled handicap strokes. Im putting my money on Hemmingway to win because he looks like a good putter and we all know in golf you putt for dough !
It depends on what course with par rating you play at. If the course is par 72, then shooting 80 would be 8 over. On a par 70, shooting 80 would be 10 over. Our goal here was to shoot 9 over which would’ve been a 79!
my worst experience in aussie is 1000 fly sits on you. in Malaysia where iam from flies only goes to the rubbish can or any rubbish or any shit.. so its kinda disgusting
I was enjoying the video until someone said meters. Turned off instantly as I wince every time I hear that term. Most players (and viewers) in the world still use yards. Just some helpful criticism :)
We live in Australia mate, everything is in metres. It's not hard for us to watch yards and just mentally multiply by 1.1, same goes for you to just take roughly 10% off mentally.

Maybe one day!

Amazing!! Really helpful way of learning!
Great video Chang. Not quite as solid a player as Hemingway, but found it very relatable!

I’m confused how shooting 10 over breaks 80? Wouldn’t 10 over shoot an 82?

It was hard to breathe in in case you swallowed some…
Lol we see the issue that we all experience, inaccurate shot placement. If we could hit where we wanted then we could easily break 80.
Easier said than done tho!
