Yes to both of these. Edited to add: Just watched a third-party review and it looks like the new one slides pretty easily in and out of the bag (the dimensions are a little different).
Ugh! Another twig stove to join the crowd of existing twig stoves that all work just fine. We really didn't need another one that provided dubious improvements at three times the price. In a growing number of state and national parks and trails, the only stoves allowed are gas stoves because they can be shut off. Further, the Stoker Stove requires a large wind screen that is tall enough to cover the pot and stove. Finally, Firebox stoves accommodate a Trangia burner and a gas adapter making them far more versatile. $80 dollars for something we can get for 1/3 the price or less. No thanks!
Bummed you don't get it, but it's not for everyone. We launched our Original Stöker Stove almost 10 years ago -- and there's definitely cheaper panel stoves in the marketplace now. None on par, but you should absolutely purchase what serves you best. We're a US-based company with US-based employees --- design, development, and tooling are major costs. The new Stöker can be used with a Trangia, btw -- the side panel holes are adjustability points for support skewers. Hope you find what works best for you @sirrehpotsirch!
I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
Such a great update to this stove 🔥🔥
Nice job putting some thought into it!
Is it less of a pain in the ass to get the last piece to form the square under the hooks? Its not the easiest to assemble
Make the canvas pouch bigger to ease in n out! Make this version titanium. If so I will give up my original version!

Bag is slighter bigger, AND Stöker Titanium is def in the works. Soon!
