I definitely don't get good sleep(5-7) at best. My BP is 105-73 average, NO medications at all, just exerciser and eat well. I am 58.

I had normal BP AT HOME BEFORE seeing my doc! An hour later at her office I had Hbp and she prescribed me 2 meds! Ridiculous!

Metabolic Syndrome is the driver of most diseases we are familiar with...it's so obvious.

It's because they don't do it correctly...he's correct.

My experience is that regardless of what they measure, they don’t do anything about it anyway. It’s just something a tech does after they weigh you. Same with weight. OK, that’s your weight and BP. Goes into the ether. I have fairly decent BP and weight, but if say I’m 5-10 lbs over or under, or 20 counts over or under on BP, nobody says anything about it. Same with key issues like exercise. They ask if I smoke, but not if I exercise-or HOW. Most MDs and RNs wouldn’t know how to advise about exercise anyway (other than to recommend doing it), despite it being an almost magical health elixir… Mainly, every day health issues are purely your own responsibility and you won’t get much help. On one side are the drug recommenders, on the other the snake oil salesmen (supplements, magic potions, etc.). Not easy for the average person to find good, solid help IF they want it, and most don’t.
