92 Things to Sell on EBAY to Make Money Daily
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 січ 2025
- Here is what I'm selling on EBAY to get consistent sales on a daily basis. The trick is to list good quality items on a regular basis and to buy low and sell high. That's really the core to be a successful reseller. It can be difficult to find these items, but if you put in the time, the sales will flow in. In this video I show you my personal eBay sales so you can see what kind of items people will buy on eBay. I get all my items from thrift stores like Goodwill, rummage sales, garage sales, estate sales, and buy locally of Facebook marketplace etc.

//WHO AM I?
I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

//FAQ
Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

I saran wrap the books together so they don't shift and less likely to break the box.
Amazing tip thank you
I found that same mysteries of the unknown book set at an "estate sale" that was really just a lady selling collectibles and items out of the rooms of her home. She wanted $300, which even appeared to be more than sold comps on ebay, so I left them behind. $5 is more like it! Lady was out of her mind!
Ciao! Sono DiegoRivende (Diego Rivende) un reseller italiano ;) e sono qui per dirti che i tuoi video sono una grande fonte di ispirazione! Bravissimo!
Thank you for sharing your finds. Great profits. Congrats
Great video as always Wick You know I just started doing this myself and I want to let you know, you can actually test slot cars with a 9 V battery. Just put the battery terminals up to the copper strips and the wheels should spin.
Good tip! Thanks
Thanks, as always, Wick. I always learn so much, especially from the actual sales videos. RE: the Danner boots you featured/sold: My husband is a huge Danner boots fan. He has a pair that he wore so much that he just sent them in to the rebuild center at the company to have them resoled. Once there, the recrafting staff had his boots apart and said that there was no sense in doing this work without fixing other issues. A sales technique? We don't think so - we did the math, and what they were describing was true - they did leak. It was either do the rebuild or replace them for wayyy more than what was charged for rebuilding them and then starting over, breaking them in to arrive at perfect boots again. About 2 weeks later - he essentially has new boots in all the Good ways, and his old boots in all the "these fit me!" ways. So, Danner boots are not only a good boot up front, but will rebuild/resole on the other side of things, if you feel like you'd like to do that.
Hey good to know. I figured they must be good boots based on how popular they seem to be on eBay. Thanks for sharing.
Fire as usual! Great rapid fire format.👍
❤ the coffee cup.
Hey Wick,
Am selling a Fire King BLUE open sugar and creamer for $25.00 today that I picked up for $5.00 at an estate sale. Sold it on Nextdoor, which I love, for cash.
I live in a HUGE retirement area and have never been stood up/blown off.
Blessings,
K.T
Thanks for saying how long it took to sell most youtubers don't
Funny how he still has everything even though it sold.
@@kevind1980 your comment piqued my interest so I looked up the record player that he talked about in the beginning sold on eBay, matched it with one that sold on eBay with the same little scratch on the X and yup he did sell it so he is truthful
@@kevind1980well reselling is a real industry, I'm sure he recorded all these clips over time
Funny thing is I legit always hear you say “These shoes are usually marked up at this Goodwill. However, these were only $5”. 😂
Seems like Ohio is the place to be for flipping. Always hear amazing deals out of that state. ❤
Goodwill shops in New Zealand used to be great but because of resellers their prices have gone crazy expensive... Great vid 👍
Rare Coins as in Quarters Nickles dimes check for errors and misprints along with paper money star notes
This was a god damn VERY informational video. Thank you for this. Nice to see such wide variety of items and what they sold for.
And also saying how long it took you to sell things, most UA-cam’s don’t disclose that at all. But nice to know what sells quick and what’s kinda slow.
Great content, as always. Thanks, Wick.
Glad you enjoyed it
I bought the unicorn statue from the Lillian Vernon catalog in the 90's. If you're old enough to remember that catalog. I paid $40 for it. It was a real blast from the past seeing it in your video.
I'm old enough, but don't remember that catalog lol.
What's your opinion on Salvation Army stores? I only stop at Goodwill's and church thrift stores now. I know how the Salvation Army warehouse works and they go through all the donations and have an eBay department. So yes things can still get through but I think it's a lot less.
The one around here closed a couple years ago, but it was a gold mine while it was open. I haven't been to one since then, so I'm not sure how they are now.
Hi Wick! Happy Sunday to you!
I had commented before on one of your other videos, (I can’t find it now) but I was asking you about a battery charger. Because of your answer, I had the confidence to list it, and I just sold it yesterday! I had it listed for about a week before it sold. I received a best offer for $40, a 100% profit (the best kind) because I picked it up from my neighbors trash pile! I wanted to share the story with you to show you that your knowledge is helping others and your videos absolutely make a difference!
And, whenever I comment I also like to ask you a question about yourself. Hope you don’t mind but it interests me! So, this time my question is, what do you think is one or two things you listed that you had a hard time letting go of because of your personal feelings. So, basically listing it as opposed to keeping it for yourself. (When I do this, I list it really high so that if it does sell, I’ve made a huge profit to make up for the personal loss)
Thanks again for the content as well as always responding to my posts!
Hey, glad it helped and you got a sale! I have many items I end up keeping. Usually vintage video games or toys. I currently have some items listed at the "I don't want to sell it" price. Last year a transformer I had sold at a high price. I was sad to see it go even though it sold for almost double what it was worth.
I just bought someof those maisto cars for 16ea at sams. First one sold 32 plus 12 shipping. Just grabbed 8 more lol. Also sold it same day i posted
Wow, nice finds. My Goodwills seem to only have trash! 😛
I could be wrong because it’s just my experience but I’ve never had try me or test me batteries explode. I think they’re made using a different formula. I think that formula is inferior so they don’t last as long but I think they’re less prone to leakage. Still warning people is a good policy but I guess I say it so you don’t worry as much? Lol.
Love seeing the variety of what you sell and your honesty. Great stuff as always. :)
Being a mail carrier we have to deliver the package no matter what. If you file a claim it has to show the item/box actually made it to your home. Doesn’t matter if the contents are in it or not. We mark it received without contents/damaged etc
6:35 Man, I would have loved to get all 4 of those books for only $20 + shipping.
Awesome video Wick
Hi Wick! I just need to come back out there and follow you around and learn...you would be cool with that, right? 😆 Such a variety of cool sales, way to go! It was awesome when they were faster than you expected too! Liked and shared, have a wonderful week, thanks Wick!
I guess that depends on if you're good luck or bad luck lol. Thanks for watching!
@@FlippingJunk😂 You're very welcome, thanks for sharing!
Can you sell expired toners with low price or how many years of expiration is still sellable?
Toner sells many years after the shelf date. As long as you disclose it and price lower, it sells. Never had any returns for expired toner or ink.
your margins are pretty crazy man kudos
Thank you so much for another great video!
8:30 I’d love to see a video on shipping that ✈️ RC?
Nice work!
Also, saw the Godzilla and it reminded me. I mostly sell videogames, and when it’s not too often but if I have a game that’s disc only I can sell for $10, or if I can find the case and manual it sells for $35 I spend a little bit of time trying to source it.
Do you do that with some items? The Godzilla missle for instance?
Yeah, sometimes I do that. Especially if it makes me more money on a higher dollar item.
Could you please let us know when you recorded the video? Did you record it each and every time before your sale ? Thank you for sharing anyway !
When an item sells I record it before I ship it.
Hey Wick,
I’m a subscriber and have learned much from watching your videos:
I have a question. I sell on eBay, but never sold/listed a baseball glove. Was given a nice glove that’s barely been worn. The problem is that the inside foam? is flaking quite a bit.
Not sure what to do or what percentage from the normal comps to reduce it by. Any suggestions?
Respectfully,
Usually not a big deal if the glove is good. Just mention it in the description and mark it down a few bucks. Should sale. 10-20% markdown should be fine.
You know they need to give an option on eBay that you could check that would force them to read the descriptions. Usually if I have something with issues I put read description in the title but still some people don’t.
I put it in all caps. I think it helps.
@@jordangrice3565 I do too usually. I think people are just in too much of a hurry these days. I know from myself sometimes I miss something important and when I go to complain I feel like an idiot. I own my mistakes though and many don’t.
I agree. Amazon and eBay need that.
Do you always offer FREE shipping as part of your sales stratedgy?? Love your channel...Thanks,
I do free shipping for items a pound or less usually. Everything else I do calculated shipping and charge based on actual weight and dimensions.
How many watchers do you usually get before an item actually sells
I'm not sure. I don't really pay attention. If I get a lot of watchers and the item doesn't sell in a couple months then I usually lower the price slightly and get the sale.
Salem NH thanks for sharing your experience
Awesome video
Do you sell expired Laserjet? If so how long after expired Do you go?
I've sold a lot. Just mention it's expired. I don't have a limit on how expired they can be, but I offer returns if they end up bad. I've never got a return, though.
@@FlippingJunk thank you
The surprise was the galaxy fan for $45!! Is that from the 1980s. Probably better than the ones now?! 13:37
It's like buying stocks. Buy low sell high!
i would have gotten that kingsman for 20 lol mafex is quality figures even if broken
Why do you still have these items if you sold them 🤔?
Because he did not ship them yet .. lol. He has to package and ship them after selling.
He takes a short vid of everything before he ships it. It is edited....
It blows my mind how many people still don't understand this lol
@@FlippingJunk I can see it being frustrating lol. I guess there will always be those who misunderstand, but you aren't doing anything misleading, imo. Everyone should know how videos work in 2024.
Unless it's a new textbook, I don't bother with most books. I can't seem to make a good profit margin on those.
How does not having receipts affect your taxes at the end of the year.
Hey Wick! Awesome sales! How will you ship that tracking? Which service?
I was wondering on the track, too. Long and fragile.
I shipped it UPS. They usually have the best price on longer items. Just bubble wrap and packed tight in a custom box.
Even if you list quality items, do you experience no views sometimes or is it only new sellers' struggling?
I wouldn't pay any attention to the views. I feel like most of my items show 1 or 0 views. Doesn't seem to matter.
Do you accept returns if electronic doesn’t work ?
Yes, I test everything, but I offer returns if there's any issues.
@@FlippingJunk video games for systems you don’t have?
Hi Wick .... are Nerf guns worth getting if I can find them cheap but without the darts? Unfortunately the shipping in Canada would make the cost a lot higher to sell it though.
Not every Nerf gun is worth getting because they don't sell well online, but there's many that are worth getting, even without darts.
@@FlippingJunk Not sure which ones though. Is there any particular ones that are really good? I really have to be careful though because my shipping on bigger items here in Canada is a lot more then it is in the US. A Nerf gun could have $30 to $40 shipping on it and I really only have access to Canada Post here. The other main shipping companies are too far away.
When you talked about the box showing up empty that’s called a SCAM
If you find a Blythe doll please pick up I’ve been looking for one for so long really good money if real
2:30 I tried to sell a simple Hand gun Gun lock on Ebay and Ebay shut it down immediately
Hey! Wick, forgive me if you've answered this before: how do you ship sold baseball bats?
Usually have boxes that fit them. I ship UPS or Ground Advantage on smaller bats. That's the cheapest. FedEx or Priority Mail will charge a fortune for shipping.
But how much did you sell the Danner boots for? You didn't say...
I did say, but it was $190
I have stopped trying to sell stuffed animals of any kind.
If you sold these things, why do you still have them? Just wondering..
I don't still have them. I shipped them. The item sells, I record a video, then I ship it.
How many items Do you list a Day?
Hard to say because I don't list every day. Usually list about 3-4 times a week and do big batches. Probably averages out to like 10 a day I'd guess.
How you get all those sold but you still have them tho? Makes no sense
Makes no sense? The item sells, I record a video, then I ship it.
How is he selling when he still has those items?
Think about it. The item sells, I record a video, then I ship it.
@@FlippingJunk ok ok
what would you expect the postal service to do? not deliver the empty box? its required by law.
90% of that would be marked up where I live, thrift stores teach their employers how to price things.
If it goes for over $50, they'll buy it for themselves (marked down) or put it on their company website. I have never seen a pair of shoes in a box nor shoes cheaper than $12.
People have a better chance at garage sales and sometimes estate sales. Though the Hispanics in our area tend to be at every one of them and grab all the good stuff first. 😅 They even have their several kids involved. No one else has a chance.
You're flipping stuff from Home Depot? Lol

Pay $3 for something and sell it for $11. So silly. All that work for an $8 profit. I wouldn’t get out of my chair for $8.
Don’t be silly on UA-cam.
The idea of reselling is to do the exercise you described X1,000 or X10,000.
He’s making a lot more then $8 an item
eBay sucks lately, bet lots of this stuff won’t sell now.
does eBay ask you for the receipt?
I found a rock on the ground. Paid .01. Sold on ebay for $100,000. I also sold my old toothbrush on ebay. Great advice on putting tape on the outside of a box you are shipping. I learn something new every day.
Lol rock on the ground? What was it a diamond
