The wheel hop is going to destroy your engine and gearbox mounts, look into some stabilisation.
Poweflex insert helps it out massively. doesnt completely solve it though.

The Seat having huge gearing helps alot with 0-60. Not many manual hot hatches hit GPS 60Mph in second gear!

Golf R = 240 bhp/ton
Seat leon = 285 bhp/ton
Audi RS3 = 320 bhp/ton
So the rs3 should have done what the cupra did to the Golf R. But it didn't 🤔. shows how much is lost to the Drive train

@@jimmyjt16 flywheel to wheel bhp.is different.power is lost through cogs..more cogs on 4 wheels.it has a big long driveshaft going to the back wheels mate and big rubber donuts..understand..its a haldex. so its 2 wheel drive..when they lose traction the back wheels kick in..which means cogs driveshaft and a rubber donut is now turning ..dead dead fast//and power is lost through that.try turning it with your hand..you will see how much energy it takes
@Spongebob Schwanzkopf i stopped reading when you claimed it kicks in at 120..it kicks in at 1mph if it slips..i have an A3 i know this...im not googling it..i beat that car up daily...this added drivetrain that a normal 2wd has not got takes alot of energy and bhp is lost through it..like i said ..see if you can turn the driveshaft by hand when the wheels are on the floor..impossible for any human.. ..takes too much energy and power..this proves my point..bhp is lost through driveshafts..if you have 20 driveshafts and 40 wheels..you lose more..you are trying to turn 40 wheels vs just 2 wheels
Awesome awesome stuff ! I really do believe the MP4S have shifted the game on so much for FWD. I have the same tyres on my Cupra. In hot weather you'll definitely be able to full send in 2nd without spin.. I imagine 4.7s is achievable with manual.

Look into some polybushes for your suspension and engine mounts, that will stiffen up the deflection and reduce the wheel hop

I note that - within the VAG family - there's a diesel Ibiza that's faster than the Leon Cupra (and in the damp as well). Never mind the RS3, you won't beat it with current tuning, it's got more engine and 4WD and DSG. The diesel Ibiza looks like the real bad boy.
