    Well dang, I sat through 1 hour and 23 min. of video with nothing breaking!!! No fire, no explosions, no blood, no guts or bones hanging out! And then!!! We were saved by the wheel falling off the cart!! Once again you have made my weekend better. Thank you my friend, may you and your family stay warm and safe.🙂

    You are a one man army. You see a lot of these UA-camrs with their fancy sawmills, but you'll be hard pressed to find many who have not only designed but built their own. You say that you doubt your ability to adjust on the machine, I think you are very capable of doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Your video productions are top notch, I always look forward to watching to see what you are in to next. Have a good rest of your weekend.👍

    The spring in the hosepipe is possibly there so the flexible pipe resists being bent so tight that it closes flat preventing flow.

    • @JohnWatkinsUK
      @JohnWatkinsUK 7 місяців тому +1

      I agree. The hose may have originally been on a reel and the end with the spring in was the 'inside' end, so had to make a tight turn off the reel and into the centre for an axial coupling.

    That was some working effort, but keep in mind, that's also your resource for many projects in the coming or future fixes. We call this a fantastic job. =) Keep on, we watch, because it's a real pleasure. Cheers!

    A friend who built himself a Diesel powered saw mill for virtually free used 2 identical Aluminium pulley's from the back of the drums of 2x front loading washing machines or tumble dryers. He found the machines at his local council tip, funny the machines were not the same make or model yet the big spoked pulley's which are around the 15 inch size, were from the same manufacturer. He also used the electric motors as his mill is a hybrid and can use either electric power or the diesel engine to spin it. He also built a Saw Mill trailer complete with extendable rails to allow him to use it at his friend's properties. He has a permanent Purpose built shed with track and a block and tackle on a sliding jib so he can lift logs or park the trailer along side and pick up the saw mill to place on the trailer. All I'm trying to point out is that the parts that are really expensive can usually be found in a different form or close to the part you wanted for next to nothing or close too it. Great videos luv ur workmanship & skills you show thank you for sharing with us all . . . .
