I absolutely love how on most of his voice lines with the new VA, Diavolo sounds calm, but when he gets angry, his yell is like he’s a completely different person.
New things I noticed: The end animation of Epitaph is different and now the cam not focus Diavolo. Erasing time has different propieties like in the video that you can teleport far of your opponent. I wanna see the EVO gameplay soon to see how much change all other char ^^ Edit: I also noticed that stands still dissapear in the ground like the bug in the demo. I expect that will be fixed at least at the game launch 😟
This voice actor is incredible. From kamina, to diavolo to tengen now in demon slayer. He's been perfect for over 15 years. Respect imo he's top 5 best voice actors in all of anime 1:35 the chills are unreal dude

I like both voices. I think I do prefer his more constant anger in the old voice, but they're both still great. Also I hope that there's a skin that let's you use the gold King Crimson. The white one is also cool don't get me wrong, I just really like the gold on red design.
I'm so glad the devs went through the effort of changing and recoloring the Stands, because I don't think I'd be able to get over the gross color scheme King Crimson has in the original ASB. The white and red looks so much better than the weird pink and greenish-yellow

Honestly I prefer the older Diavolo's VA, just kinda fits his character as in older and intimidating mob boss, and I feel he really nailed the GHA with passion in it more than the new pen, still I belive the mew VA did great but I am a fan of the older more deeper Diavolo voice personally

Yeah it’s inconsistent asf, Giorno lost his pockets and for some reason also lost his uncurled hair donuts when he awakens Requiem, even though that’s in the anime. They didn’t change DIO‘s fingernails or removed his collar but then they went and made Fugo‘s hair weird. Feels like the developers are cherry-picking what they like, and I disagree with most changes lol. That being said, new Gold Experience does look leagues better, it actually looks organic now.

@@kianhendriks9073 You could do more than grab before, it was a free strike throw mixup. Now he loses the mix and he gets moved far away. By the time he gets to the opponent they’ll have recovered from their move most of the time and he won’t get anything off of it. I see why they nerfed it, because the game already has a lot of universal combo breakers with assists. But hopefully only the combo breaker is nerfed, not the regular counter.
@@kianhendriks9073 The way it worked before you had complete freedom to do whatever you wanted. This gave you a free mixup because it forced the opponent to guess what you’re gonna do next. Is he gonna do a special? A low? A neutral jump attack? An empty jump low? Or a grab? The grab is the option I saw people pick the most, but what if he doesn’t grab? Then you get punished for trying to tech the grab and get full comboed for like 40-50% damage. It’s mind games, if you guess wrong you get punished. It puts him in control of the match. It’s one of the reasons he was so top tier, because he could put you in that situation from you landing hits on him. Now he’s lost that completely, at least when used as a combo breaker.
I dunno, people say that the new dub is better, but as for me the old one is superior. I mean, in the context of battle Diavolo's identity is revealed, he stands right in front of his foe, so he should always sound like a super-angry barking dog. New dub fits the shadow costume (A or B, can't really remember) perfectly, because he's calm and still has control of the situation. But man, can't you hear how he praises himself much higher among mortals in the original? Man, classic.
