Ann Wilson has the most powerful female voice and Nancy is a true musician!
Man, can she sing! One of the greatest female rock singers ever.
Would have loved to have seen Ann, and Linda Ronstadt team up.
Could you imagine that show?
Both of them ! this song couldn’t be sung but by those sisters 👍
Heart is the greatest female fronted band of all time..and they have a plethora of fantastic tracks...my favorite would be mistral wind
Nice unplugged version of the song. Condolences Texas Magnolia. Prayers for healing your heart.
I appreciate you. I miss him so.
Big hugs ❤😭
Big hugs 😍
So sorry for your loss!
so sorry for your loss, Ms. Magnolia!
Sorry for your loss, beautiful song that you shared.
Saw them last year. Always amazed at Ann Wilson's voice. Beautiful song♥️
First time i ever saw Ann play guitar too...wow!!
Two very talented sisters!
That was a gorgeous performance.
I played that album continuously when it came out. Still have it, too!
My favorite Heart song too.......🍃❤🍃🐶🍃🦋🍃
Ann Wilson has one of the greatest voices of our time
always loved them. talent!
Female led bands were very much a rarity back in the 70s, but these sisters persevered and became very successful. Rightly so. They have a number of really fine tracks. 'Dreamboat Annie' is, for my money, one of the most hauntingly beautiful and frustratingly too short tracks of all time.
Maybe the most underrated rock band.
A very good video, a lot of people forget that Ann Wilson is a very good guitarist, as well as a singer. Good choice.
This song makes me think of my younger sister that died in 1999 at 38 years old. It was her very favorite song, and she absolutely loved butterflies! She was a social butterfly herself, always funny and outgoing, and always good with people. I still miss my little butterfly, and smile when I hear this song.
Well beyond prime and still sounds great. Pretty amazing
That woman can sing.. She nails Stairway to heaven as well.
Anytime I've seen videos of Heart live, they are always in that perfection mode. They never miss a note, they never play out of key , they never sing out of key. They know their craft. Perfection
These are two awesome women. Once in a lifetime talents
I managed to see the Heart sisters 30 odd years ago. They certainly still have it. One of my all time favorites. This song always brings back fond memories of my youth.
Dreamboat Annie one of My favorite albums of all time. Wore out first one. Had to buy a 2nd one. My mom has all my vinyl.
Anything from Heart Rocks.
Ann gets all of the credit, but people should realize what an accomplished guitarist and vocalist Nancy is! She has humbly taken a back seat to her sister since the beginning, without Nancy there would be no Heart!
Mike Maggio Mike, this in one reason I chose this clip. I am a huge fan of Nancy! I wanted to not only showcase Nancy but, the simplicity of just Ann and Nancy. Thanks Mike.
@@TexasMagnolia Thanks so much for your reply, I'm glad to see someone also appreciates Nancy as well. Take care!
dogs chase butter flies that is what the do and the like it!
Great song from the Wilson sisters. Not only is it an amazing song, this version is just the two of them showing their incredible talent on such an amazing song. Glad you made a reaction on it.
thank you for the reaction, love the song and I also love the fact you are not afraid of your faith. God Bless Brother.
This whole album is great!
Wow.... never heard this one and it blew me away and brought me to tears. When you related how Texas Magnolia lost her brother this song took me back to a day I spent with my big brother when I was 10. He took the day off and we spent the day driving around on his motorbike. A few short months afterwards he lost his life. Those are treasured memories thank you. So sorry for your loss Texas Magnolia💕💕💕
Such talented sisters 👍 first time I heard Heart was in 1977 and have been a fan ever since 💖 a beautiful song by beautiful sisters 😁
Great job doing another off the beaten path song.
Beautiful Song. My Mom passed away three years ago, and I would take her for long drives, and we would listen to this song. Precious Memories! ❤️
I heard Ann say how she was inspired to write this song. To me it's about the search for the unattainable. Chasing a chimera.
Glad someone finally reacted to my favorite Heart song. Word is the sisters have patched up their differences they picked up a few years ago and are planning a new tour.
Old Goat They started the tour in July and finished on October 13. Ann was 69 and Nancy was 65 and I thought they killed the tour. I couldn't go to a one.
You do a great job with your reviews. There will always be complainers. This song is such an under rated gem. The Wilson sisters have so much talent. What a nice tribute to someone who has suffered a loss.
this is the song we would play for our dog "Coal" when she was a pup and then near the end of her life... she would chase butterfly's. We love you Lady Coal....
I have heard a lot of Heart but I sure don't remember this one. So beautiful of a song.
What a beautiful song & a great reaction, thanks Ty!
This same concert you should react to Battle of Evermore it's an amazing performance.
This gave me chills. ( BC) Texas Magnolia is my sister in law.. and we did lose her brother.. Rest in peace Mike 😭😰 we miss you dearly 😍
Sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
Thoughts and prayers for the entire family
Thank you .
Ann and Nancy Wilson!! Queens of Rock!! I have to say, "This video doesn't show how beautiful Ann is." - this has to be the heaviest she was on video!! ~ Check her out back in the day (think Midnight Special - TV Program live)
Thank you sir you have a 50 year old grown man in tears thank you
They just finished their tour in October. They started in July. It's on UA-cam if you want to follow.
People can be assholes!! Stay Cool!!!!
Awesome song by an awesome band and she has a great voice! They have a ton of great songs!
I absolutely love this song
One of my favorite Heart songs.
Maybe my favorite Heart song.
Laura Diageo "Still Rolling Stone's "
They’re in their fifties here. Still rocking.
They're in their 60s
Man, this song was all over the radio, back in the day. Love the Wilson sisters.
Dog and Butterfly live. Good man.
This has always been my favorite heart song, I already told you my story about how I listened to it so I won’t repeat that lol, but it’s been my favorite heart song since I was about 5 years old. It’s just always pulled at my soul, idk why but it has.
One of my fave songs by heart! They have a ton!
sometimes music is pretty
Wilson sisters can harmonize so good. I have several albums of Heart.
Wendy Pritchard I have found...no better harmonies than family.
Love Ann & Nancy
These two ladies are so talented. Barracuda is still my favorite, but this songs melody really shows off her talent because it's all over the place. Wonderful to see she still has her range. MRM I rarely do this but if you get the chance find thier original version from when they were in thier prime. There is a little more power in that version. To Texas Magnolia, what MRM was saying will be helpful inyour harder times yet to come. My condolences, and yes cherrish every fond memory you had with your brother. When you miss him the most those memories will see you through it.
Was it country and western it had that feel nice song
Heart was such a powerful band, it was great they were such role models for my generation of girls cuz they kicked ass. My favs heart song has to be dreamboat annie it is short and oh so sweet...♡
Connie Leighton
Heart still is a powerful band. Check out Fanatic and Beautiful Broken.
They’re still touring and if you’ve seen them live, you’ve been in the presence of greatness.
When I was young they always played Dreamboat Annie with Crazy On You they blend together so well.
@@christine3043 my favorite song also❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anything Heart Rocks ...Mistral Wind .😍 is bad to bone
Amen to that, Sister.
These ladies know how to rock. Seems to me that they get better with age.
Lighter Touch, Nada one , Dream of the archer, and Mistral wind.
First time hearing this, very good
c'est bon
This was the first time ever hearing this song and I think it is quite lovely, Sorry for the lost of your brother Texas Magnolia.
Anita Parker Thank you Anita. Bless you.
Another treat is their cover of stairway to heaven at a tribute to Led Zeppelin. So awesome. At the Kennedy Center circa 2014.
Have many fond memories related to this song.
Just a tad bit info here, the Wilson sisters were great friends with Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley, they sung song Sands at his memorial service.
Meant say the sung at his Memorial Service and the song was SANDS..lol
And they did together Ring Them Bells from Bob Dylan on a Heart album one hell of a song
@@TheDreamtheaterlover yes a beautiful song and Ann sings on SAP album as well. They were good friends
I hope you can get to These Dreams By Heart from the same concert live in Seattle
Have you checked out Pink Martini with Quizas, Quizas, Quizas & Amado Mio?
"Grief is not a disease; it is necessary"/Kay Redfield Jamison
LOVE this Track!
One of Hearts great song ❤️👍
Love this song
My favorite Heart song! My only brother passed on the 7th, he was an awesome guitarist and Stevie Ray Vaughn was his Idol. Would love for you to do a reaction to Stevie and his brother Jimmy on double neck guitar doing Pipeline
Apathy 99 So sorry for you loss, losing a sibling is like losing a part of yourself. I wish I could give you words of comfort but I’ve yet to find any myself. Music is what’s helping me...and prayer.
Texas Magnolia ❤️ positive thoughts and energy to you...I’m basically numb now, I’ve lost a sister and my mom as well
SRV is the greatest guitarist ever period. He knew
Happy Birthday to your son !!!
Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) are the Best.
You'll love this one ✌
Oh yeah, they definitely still have "it" 😊
i wll react to this
This is such a great song, but it doesn’t get much air play, unfortunately. Should be played much more! Thanks for reminding me how great it is.
Oh yeah they still have it alright. This whole concert is amazing !
Such a beautiful song and with Nancy and Ann musicianship its a pure musicgasm !
Thanks for sharing !
How do we get you to do a song or two ? Lert me know !
Lerv from down under \m/ \m/
Cool.
They got their start in Canada but they are from the US. I would love to see your reaction to Triumph a great band from Canada. Fight The Good Fight is one of their best songs but they have a lot of great songs.
jay strilland great song which was written for the singer’s Aunt who was battling cancer as well. Fu$& Cancer!
I lost a dear friend last week from cancer! Can you please dedicate (My old friend . By Tim McGraw) to Lance Lancione
dawn bailey so sorry to hear of your loss. Right now! Words can’t help, it get’s a little better with time. I pray for you to find comfort and peace as time passes. Bless you Dawn, I’ll be thinking of you.
Love this song!! Another great song by Heart, is Straight On. If you really want to hear an amazing performance, May I recommend “Stairway to Heaven”, by Heart, featuring Jason Bonham (John Bonham’s son) on drums, live at the Kennedy Center. It’s a tribute to Led Zeppelin, in front of Led Zeppelin. BEST COVER, EVER!! You won’t regret watching this one. Just, WOW! 😳Promise. 🥰
He already did!
Funny how some comments could be so rude. I guess we're entitled to deal with morons. I requested a song about 7 months ago and I realize that people from all over the world are watching you and you're getting so many requests it's like everybody has to stand in line. I get it. Some people don't
I love Heart, but we used to joke around by changing the lyrics to "See the frog in the gutter die." What can I say? We were young and weird.
Here is an old parody to this one called Doing It Doggy Style. Funny as hell. No, it's not the Geezers. Here ya go. ua-cam.com/video/g3zUf9oa_Dg/v-deo.html
I love Heart sooo much! Such badass women. This isnt exactly one i always listen to because its my ex husband’s fave, which is a bad memory! BUT, its still amazing nonetheless! 🖤🤟🖤🤟🖤🤟🖤
Two of them are. The others are men.
Ken Perk i hear u Ken.. and yes, they could all jam like crazy! Im just privy to the girls, they’re adopted sister’s & my other adopted sister with me & i related well, as she played guitar & played piano for me as a singer.. so its sentimental also to see how well they meshed & how successful they have been 😊🖤
Great song! I got totally tuned in to Heart in 1977 with the "Little Queen" Lp. (Baracuda). Even though 'Magic Man' caught my attention a year earlier. I finally saw them live in 1984 I think it was. Gotta say though, I lost interest in the music they made after they dumped Roger Fisher, a highly underrated guitar player and a major, major, major part of the early Heart sound!.
Great song, great band! Another great song and story line by heart, All I wanna do is make love to you.
i know you like live but how about a song thats a video recording of them recording the song for the album?? ua-cam.com/video/TaKD1Vdarnw/v-deo.html this is The Band a Canadian and American band that were Bob Dylan's backing band when he wanted to tour Electric in the mid 60s. This recording is the Alternative take for their song King Harvest off there second album self titled or known as the Brown album. if you enjoy it check out any of their performances from The Last Waltz which was their final concert with the original line up after 17+ years of touring and playing together. if you do you should start with the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down its Levon (the Drummers) best performances ever. i really hope you get to do this and enjoy it as much as i do Cheer.
Rob
You'd be better served listening to the recorded version. This live version is good, but all the cheers and whistling and what-not just ruins it. This is a gentle, soft song and should be respected as such by the audience. The can whoop and holler at the end!
That was a gorgeous performance.
