Hi Nancy! I am so sorry my delayed response, your comment must have gotten lost in translation. That is a great question. So many of our little ones explore with their mouths and, because of this, it's a huge choking hazard. My best recommendation is to only do this activity supervised! That way, if you notice your child is putting a cotton ball in their mouth, you can quickly remove it. You can also replace the cotton balls with something edible - that way if they accidentally eat it, there's no stress about it being toxic or harmful. Edible options include pieces of cereal or even a piece of popcorn. Even if your child is using something edible, supervision at all times is still necessary. I hope this helps!
