Make an easy sensory bin for your toddler + preschooler

  • Sensory bins are an easy activity that will keep your little ones entertained for hours during the quarantine! They provide wonderful sensory input, help challenge fine motor skills, and can even target social skills if enjoyed with a peer or sibling. All you need for this activity are basic household materials. Enjoy!
    Materials:
    -base texture (rice/dried pasta/dried beans/water/sand/ripped up tissue paper, really whatever you want)
    -large bin/pot/container
    -small toys/objects to go on top

    Thank you for the tips! My son loves to pay with rice but I hadn't thought of adding pompoms and different textures to it too! I'll definitely try this! :)
