Flicking lures for Golden Perch with Fishermans Office

- After camping for the night, myself and Lee from Fishermans Office walked the banks of the Campaspe River in search of his first ever Yellowbelly. Despite near perfect conditions, the fish were hard to find but we persevered and found a couple of hungry yellas, even if 1 of them found a snag and escaped we still had a lot of fun. Lee and I will have to meetup again soon to try to find him a nice golden perch so he can make his own video. In the meantime, you can go and checkout what Fishermans Office does right here on UA-cam using the links below

Had a ripper time mate.
Maybe I can keep one on next time haha.
Thanks mate, so did I. We will find you one next time for sure, even if we have to walk TWICE as far! LOL
"Just buried me straight away!" Welcome to Yebblies.
@@AndrewFishmanYeah I quickly realised they are a bit this way haha
well done to you both

Hello my Friend! Good fishing! Like 👍
Thank you 👍
Great stuff. I was up your way last week, stayed at Cohuna. Didn't really fish, just a little holiday with my wife.
Did catch a large carp.
Thanks mate. Ah ok very nice! I haven't done much fishing along that stretch but I'm hoping to hit it after cod season opens. I hope your holiday was great, and well done on the large carp mate
Awesome Yella. Nice Work RKJ Congrats
Thanks so much
Bloody ripper yella. Sorry Lee missed out, hopefully next time he has better luck.
As for chatterbaits, from my limited experience the fish love them, but they're quite snag prone.
Thanks heaps Robbie, we will get him onto one next time for sure. I have similar experiences with chatterbaits haha
Awesome yellowbelly mate 👍
Thanks heaps mate
Great video mate
Glad you enjoyed Michale, thanks mate
the yellas are on the bite this year!!!😄 just got a 45cm the other day on green size 2 stump jumper 😄
That's awesome well done
Nice yella
Cheers Ross!
Nice fish
Thanks mate
Nice work fellas. Shame Lee didn’t get onto any. Always next time 🤙
Thanks heaps mate. Yeah definitely! He's got an excuse to come back soon now hehe
Lovely rugby ball right there mate haha what a beauty I'm not jealous at all 😂
Haha cheers mate. Someday the world will stop being this crazy, and you will come over here and catch some with me.
@@RKJFishing honestly mate I can't wait I'll be able to save for it after the dam lockdown too but it's something I'm very much looking forward to.
Too bad you friend didn't catch, those fish are beuty amigo
Thanks heaps Raul, they are absolutely stunning fish for sure.
What a beauty Rohan! Nice release too. There's always next time Lee!
Thanks heaps Frank. Haha yeah we will get him one next time for sure.
Frank, for a moment I was thinking you were saying Rohan was a beauty. I thought, you have to get your eye's checked mate. Then I realised you were talking about the fish.
@@AndrewFishman Haha, errr no. As I have said to Rohan in the past, we both have good heads for radio lol! I agree, I thought the fish was much better looking.
@@captainfrank01 Yeah, I have a good head for radio also. And a great voice for silent movies.
hahahahaha
Top stuff mate it seems like that you take people out but can't get them lol. That was a nice beautiful Yella though.
Haha yeah maybe I'm cursed? LOL! Although when I took Robbie out for a yella he caught a fish and I didn't, even if it was a cod and not a yella hahaha
@@RKJFishing it could be lol yep I seen that video he got all excited over a Yella but was a cod LoL
Back luck Lee next time hopefully. Well done Rohan nice looking spot mate.
Cheers mate.
I'll get one eventually 😂
More excuse for Lee to come back again aye? hehe. Thanks heaps Jaron
@@RKJFishing Haha definitely
@@fishermansoffice you certainly will mate
Aniseed Dizzy Scent aye? Wonder where you get that. Hahahaha
My mate Dinga from Murray Crabb Fishing gave it to me! lol
@@RKJFishing 😂🤣😂🤣
@@RKJFishing I heard on the grapevine Dinga's not a bad sort. This bloke Kingsley I know speaks pretty highly of him.
Sorry he didn't get one but that one you caught was a beauty.
Thanks so much Bill. We will get Lee onto one next time.
Never knew yellas can be caught in such a shallow creek. Well done.
Oh yeah absolutely, yellas can be caught in much shallower water than murray cod can, and usually in faster current as well. They are a very fast and strong fish.
That was a awesome yellow belly to bad I would like to seen catch more of them but good fishing 🎣
Thanks so much Jerry, hopefully next time they are a bit more active.
Great hook up Rohan, 50 centimetre easy, common Lee 🤣
Just one more cast lol,
Take care Rohan Great video mate ATB Jim 👍
Thanks so much Jim! Yeah he definitely had a lot of one last casts haha. They were hard to find that day but we'll get him one next time.
Shame you couldn't get Lee on his first yellow, but it still looked like a nice time out there, AND that one you caught was a good one mate!
Thanks so much mate. We will get Lee onto a few yellas next time I reckon!
Great Video Rohan, inspired choice for the Oar-gee in the deeper hole, I usually have a few alongside the mid water lures
Thanks heaps mate! Yeah those 60mm Oar Gees are hard to beat for yellas. I like the "Old Mate" lures as well but they don't come in that size unfortunately!
@@RKJFishing I also have a few small spinnerbaits, very hard to come by.
Great video Rohan! Sux that lee couldn’t catch his first. Great job on the yellow belly though 👍🏻🎣
Thanks heaps mate! We will get him one next time for sure.
You going away for the cod season ?
I'm making a little road trip yeah, I'll be walking the banks with a good mate. Hopefully between the 2 of us we can bag at least one for opening morning
where is that at i think im gonna go there
This was on private property but the Campaspe has yellas all through it.
Mission: "Yellow Belly for Lee", the saga continues, success is near!
haha cheers Russ
white butterflies might have been a good bait
Haha yeah you might be right John!
Great work guys. Looked to be an awesome day out down by the water also looked to be beautiful weather well next time for sure Lee will land one.
Thanks Shahil! The conditions were perfect, the only thing missing was more fish LOL. We'll make sure he gets one next time.
@RKJ Fishing
Rohan bring him over to Cairn Curran ? Been going off . I caught 14 yellas in 3 hours not long ago
That's unreal Leigh well done. From boat or shore? Bait or lure? In any case, good work.
@@RKJFishing just out in the tinny. Bobbing worms did the trick wouldn't take much else
@@leightranter4758 Thanks for the info mate! I'll try to get down there one of these days hehe
Nice fatty on the bank!! Hopefully your buddy can land one next time!
Thanks mate. We will get him onto a yellowbelly next time for sure.
That Yebbly stuck around for the interview, but took off when autographs were mentioned.
haha yeah he left in a hurry didn't he? Must have had somewhere to be lol
That was a nice fatty. Maybe Lee should try the crankbait next time.👍
Thanks mate. He actually did try a crank after the batteries went flat but had no luck. The fish were very quiet that day
