700 Horsepower JB4 Tuned 2023 G07 X7 M60i Dyno Pull!

We were finally able to get our hands on a new BMW S68 car for JB4 development. The new hybrid platform is insane, we hit 700whp with just a JB4 and E30!

Will add more info and logs as time permits but the platform has a ton of tuning potential. A few dynos below. This engine loves octane. Boost levels are around 15psi stock, 20psi on 93 octane, and 25psi on E30.

Potential? 😂 I test drove this thing, and it was absolutely pathetic. You’d think with the next gen M5 motor it would be atleast sporty… this thing has no potential. It handles like a boat and accelerates like one too. The most impressive part of the car is the massaging seats…

@@benicia21 You think the car I drove was power locked huh? 😂 2 months later and I am still laughing! The car I drove was featured in a BMW street drive event- in other words, it was given all day to people to drive around for 30/60 minutes. It had much more then 300 miles, and it was definitely not "power locked"... LOL!

@@Andy-bm6zohandles like a boat(it’s a massive suv), accelerates like a boat(massive suv). I don’t know what you were expecting when it has no electrical assistance like the XM with batteries. Also not exactly the same platform, same engine sure but the next gen M5 will be hybrid not just pure engine like this X7.

Thanks for sharing! I wonder what the baseline would have been with 93 octane vs. 91 and a splash of (maybe 1 gallon) or so of E85. What setting did you have the X7 while on the dyno? ie. comfort, sport, sport plus, etc. I have read that some models of BMW showed the highest power with your JB4 on settings other than sport plus per se.
