been farming lembas, for me its the best food. easy to get and good hp regen. managed to go deep under the mines and farm all gems with a bunch of them
@@Dare_To_Game I think if you find fennel, you get the recipe for Cram. I'm growing a bunch of Fennel now, then I think Cram will be my go to until late game, when I'll switch over to Lembas.
Is there a reason to eat certain meals over others? Simple>reasonable>complex is all I really see. It seems they fill your belly more, but nothing states if they do anything else or why you would bother with higher tier meals when early meals are much easier to make.
Haven't run full tests on everything, but certain meals, like rations can reduce hopelessness. So, useful for that. I've also noticed certain meals heal HP, and others don't.

Yep, Lembas is an excellent ration. I too use it to keep my dwarf alive and prevent despair.
Super useful guide. I spent a surprising amount of time eating raw meat and mushrooms.
diving into the mines again today. Can't wait to see what i discover.
Same. I can't wait to get back to it.
Great stuff. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
How did you get the gristmill?
where do you find the ingredients for the hopgoblet lager? its the only thing left to find i think
found it, was a missing ranger book not giving my the recipie
I was wondering how to make cram. I keep finding it in crates and stuff scattered around.
I haven't found a cram recipe, but lembas, beorn's honey cakes, and travel bread are all better anyway.
when you plant and pick fennel you will unlock cram@@Dare_To_Game Other seeds and beans unlock different foods.

I've been eating a lot of mushroom stew, lol. And raw sunions.
That is certainly one way to do it.
Love it. Keep the content coming.
Thank you! Will do!
Is there a difference in the food categories. For example, for Complex Rations, are Lembas, Cram, and Pasties all pretty much the same?
Lembas gives full health, cram is like 20% maybe
why no cram on your oven?
how do you get the gristmill?
That's what I came here for from a search and was never told. I found one needing repaired around the map somewhere and can't find it again.
It ends up unlocking after you find some iron wood.@@grimsgraveyard3598
It's random gen but I found a gristmill in the western halls right at the start of the game
how do you get the miruvor recipe
Found this from another site . . . completing the ranger journal in the Crossroads area, I believe. Hope this helps, good luck!
