- Fodder rape is part of the out-wintering plan for weaklings here so I'm trying to step thru what needs to be done in the coming weeks. Topping is on my agenda again too (as ever now that I've the new toy!) and we see the results of the first bit of topping I did a few weeks ago. And the new reseed ground needs to be grazed ASAP.
Good informative video, thanks Kieran.I think your skimping on the P+k,will affect your grass down the line. Surely you can drive down to your local supplier and buy one big bag of 10/10/20.Dont mean to be critical, just an observation.
You have me thinking now. I’ll check that out on Monday. I could put a 375kg bag in the car trailer
You can order 10 bags of 18:6:12 and 30 bags of N, I don’t think they mind handling them in the co-op especially if you give them good business
Your making a great job of the place fair play 👍
I don't know about down there but up here in Co meath I can go to the. merchant and buy a half tonne bag of fertiliser no problem.
Yea that’s the same in Cavan here Gerry.
Great video l used intervil b4 great groth growes very tall
Love these videos made me realise how hard farmers have to work
What does the writing on your shirt mean?
I don’t know what all your farming terms mean, but I love listening to you.
Hope the weather is good to you. 👍👍😊
I don’t know what the letters or writing means. I got several t-shirts from my brother and they all have Spanish words about running and cycling 😂
Cracking job
How many acres are u framing Kieran
Only 30-ish acres at the moment
Just get the small bags of fertiliser
