- I got a thumbs-up on the loan application so I'm going to drive on with the dairy plan.
There's lots of work to be done between now and next February, including putting heifers in calf, widening roadways gaps and filling potholes, planning new roadways, improving air and light in the cubicles, selling the next beef cattle, and a dozen other jobs I can't even remember now!
I love to see a stock man walking amongst his animals and they are very content to let him its a great sign of a great stockman well that's what my father always told me so I grow up with the same opinion, enjoyed the video thank you for sharing
Nice to see you back keep up the great videos
How exciting! Looking forward to seeing the installation of the parlour.
Good to see you again! 👍😊👍
Good to see you back with a new video, keep them coming 🐄🐄
Often heard Kieran that its the lime that applied when reseeding that softens the ground?
You could put a chamfer of mortar on the inside of the block wall out to the outside to prevent the water coming in.
Good to see you back, good luck with the cows
Best luck ya Angus good.for hefers for calfing
Best of luck with the new venture
Great to hear your going for the parlour life Kieran. Best of luck 👍
A little more light & a little more air & that's the difference between the Irish Summer & winter 🤠 ☘️

Best of luck..nice to see how a smaller one man outfit making progress, unlike all those huge outfits, with big money and everything already done for them ...👍
Not much experience of reseeding but I wonder if land getting badly poached over the winter may make it worse then if reseeded from grassland in spring.
Years at it or six months in Holland.
Great to hear
The very best of luck to you bud 💪
It doesn’t have to be fancy,it just has to be functional 👍👍

Fair play to you for having a go at dairy, its not for everyone. It will be a lot of hard graft but youve clearly given it a lot of thought.

Hi kiran/ exiting times huh.cant wait to continue to follow the journey. Thanks and take care.
Good stuff
With the price of milk you would want to be very careful with borrowing too much
No fear of dairy farmers they are protected species.
Best of luck with the dairying hope it goes well 🙏
Good man exciting times. Was there a reason you went with an Angus bull and not a Friesan so you’d have replacements.
I’m not breeding any replacements this year. I won’t have any room so all but 10 calves will be sold at 3 weeks next year
Great stock. Are you happy with the bull? what are his figures like?
