- Another 350+ whp stock internal NA VHR, this time in the heart of the Midwest.
Bree Ann and I did ISR Longtube headers, ARK catback, ID1050X injectors and an ECUTEK E85 Tune and made some pulls are Off The Line Performance on their Dynojet.
Final result was 351whp/291wtq. This is a little lengthier video but also provides some insight on using dynos as a tuning/measurement tool and what factors are involved... for the experts that like saying they can be manipulated 😄

We had some people say I can just type whatever HP number I want on the dyno sheet or I can heat up the weatherstation to throw the corrections off :)
@@admintuning when will you be in NJ/NY area? I got a tune and the throttle is acting up on UPREV. Made 342/275 STD and feel like they left a lot on the table.
The fuel injectors and flex fuel kit really helped and with that free up exhaust.. great combo

I owned a 370Z and fell I love with the VQ then kids came and I got ahold of a 2014 Q50. Wanted to keep that wonderful engine now just need to get these Bolt ons to open her up.

What were the STOCK Dyno numbers? It’s the increase percentage of stock -> tuned that makes most sense since the diversity of dynos show a variety of hp/torque figures.

That vk56 is such a beautiful and unique sounding v8. Some bolt ons, maybe a cam and a tune and that thing will MOVE.

I’m sure this would be the std spec moncef was talking about chasing numbers. When I got my 3.7 back in 16 I saw people with higher numbers than me and I had more mods. I pushed 289whp and 250trq.

With e85 can u use other gas if u not in range of a e85 gas station.
Secondly, can be more in depth with before tuning the necessary step need before tuning... some tuner need the ecu .. some need u to go change oil and spark plugs before they tune it... g37s 2009 do u need to upgrade the ecu before tuning it

Brenz _ it’s almost a 4-6 hour job so really depends on shop but expect to spend more than $400 for sure
my mechanic installed my z1 headers in like 45 mins..
Enkeis most mechanics usually charge you by the book hours even if they finish quicker

I was hoping for 93 tune just to see what pump gas would do as well was guessing low 320s on pump but who knows.
On 93 at sea level this car would do around 335-340whp.
I have a custome exhaust. Isr test pipes. Moterdyne intake manifolds injen intakes 600cc injectors on e85 making 300 whp😐

I have implemented new strategies on old tunes I’ve done for customers, peak power stays about the same but the midrange is nicer and power comes on quicker than it was a couple of years ago.

How did you get the longtube headers to fit within the AWD? Everywhere I look companies say their products wont git awd systems
There’s no footage of anyone installing longtube headers on an AWD. He says the dyno is AWD. BOTH rollers are spinning but ONLY the REAR wheels are on the rollers. The fact the both rollers are spinning on a rwd q50 makes me think that these numbers are not correct

I recently bought one of these and it's fun to drive!! My first car above 300hp, a noobie you could say. How much for a setup like that and what's the maintenance on these features? Will it shorten the lifespan of any of the components?

Since no one else answered you i will. I own a g37x and have look into mods very heavily. Fuck the injectors unless you’re gonna fuel swap to e85. I would do test pipes, cat back(with a nice y pipe), full 3 inch intake, sway bars, and some nice lowering springs or shocks and youll have 360 whp one something that handles as good as a GTR. Oh and make sure your on some extreme contact Yokohama’s or a nice tire like them.

E30/E85 is the easiest way to reach 350 rwhp.
@Mind Bender - I will tell you maintenance there is not going to be a noticeable difference. As far as life span, one thing I learned a long time ago is if you have a performance oriented set up but drive it like it’s a normal car, they tend to last longer.
If you drive it like a GTR, then it will shorten them for sure.

the 3.7 airboxes are the VERY last thing you.d want to spend money on as the stock ones are great.

Ive looked up long tube headers from ISR for a few weeks now online to buy, but all the places say its for 09+ g37's. I have 08 g37s sport coupe 6mt 57k miles.
Will those long tube headers by ISR fit my year or will i have to settle for something else?
They are all the same ISR 350Z/G35 header that fit the 370Z/G37/Q50 coupes/sedans etc.
When you buy it if you do make sure to add the extension harness

Perry Baxter look up “g37 isr long tube headers” click on the enjuku racing ones then you have to extend the extension harness because they are made for the g35’s 350z but they will fit if you add the harness
