    Very well done, indeed. Let me express my humble opinion, nonetheless. I think it could be more beneficial to reduce the weight and augment the quality of the movement. Anyway, this is an inspiration for everyone to keep active through the years.

      Thanks for watching... indeed near max range for tall thin frame at 58 yrs, now 60. I only do those max efforts 2 or 3 times per year. But trust me I know my limits and work within those parameters. Core strength is everything as we age thus I devote alot of time in that domain, especially Turkish Getups (have done 1,000 in a Month 44lbs and 50 with 60lbs in 30 minutes)

      @@kettlebellken are you left handed like me? i have that same problem with the 70lb KB cling. Im close to a full lockout on the right side. My left I can easily lock it out. Any suggestions on creating an equal balance?

    • @kettlebellken
      @kettlebellken  2 роки тому

      Yes a lefty. Perhaps right arm ( non dominant) fatigues faster with heavier load, but more concentration on lockout is probably required too. On a side note, I have NOT been doing as many heavy TGUs (70-90lbs) since 2019 and thus believe my lockout strength has diminished

      Hey Usman thanks for watching... I agree form not the best on this set as I was already in a fatigued state after 60 Snatches with 65 & 75lbs. Also I am 6'5" 182lbs so the laws of physics are definitely working against my thin frame. Here's a better example with 60lbs at age 56 ua-cam.com/video/0a05aieQI7M/v-deo.html

      Nice job.
      Give it a little more hip drive and push your hips all the way through.
      Do a practice session and go back and forth between a lighter and heavier bell and really focus on using only the hip drive and very little arms.

    • @kettlebellken
      @kettlebellken  2 роки тому +1

      Actually I do like them for high volume Snatches, as they offer more control & feel, just started using competition KBs in 2019. For most other exercises prefer standard KBs, especially for TGUs.
