From everything I could find, this games lines were recorded before Encanto came out. It's actually mainly a reference to the fact that unlike the show, Alex is a supervillain in the comics who betrayed the team and tried to kill all of them except for Nico, who he was in love with. Since this game mostly refers to comic lore, it's safe to say he was evil in this universe and Nico is referring to his betrayal here.
I agree. The only MCU show I hated was The Inhumans. That was a waste of a show. The only thing that show had any connection to the MCU was terigenesis. Other than that you really don't need to watch it.

I’ll never forget of when The Runaways went up against the Young Avengers in the comics. It was cool to see both teams interact with each other and can relate with how their parents are.
