    Hi, not related to this video but I was watching your video breakdown on an EWF song September and was wondering what isolation software you used? Great breakdown of the song, too!🙂

    Here are the number of notes per octave of each setting (Equal Division of Octave or EDO) if anyone wants to know.
    1 = 12
    7/8 = 13.714
    3/4 = 16
    5/8 = 19.2
    1/2 = 24
    3/8 = 32
    1/4 = 48
    1/8 = 96
    S1 and S2 are subtle streched octaves

    I havent found many videos on patch base. I would like to run it from my ipad and control a DX7 and D50. I dont suppose you could do a short demo of patch base ? Thanks

    I absolutely love microtonal sounds because pretty much everything is locked into traditional scales and i think music should have a lot more freedom.
    Aphex Twin has done this for the longest time but i would like to see more artists use microtuning.
    Stranger Things soundtrack had one really awesome microtuned synth part (the upside down monster theme) that was microtuned with a modular synth's sequencer but that's about all i've heard in years.

    Very interesting, didn't know that the D-50 was capable of doing that.

    Patch base looks great! Sadly, the only vintage synths I have are an SH-101 (no MIDI anyway) and a Yamaha SY85... they have an SY77 editor. Hmm... maybe it might work. I'll ask them!
