- Do you have a space in your home that looks boring? Fix it. I found a 100+ year old Mahogany Door to make a Pendant Light fixture and a Railing to make something fancy... along with LEDs.
Can't wait for a future episode titled "Skinning a raccoon and making a neat hat".

Trashing mid century design is worse than trashing a Shelby, those tiles were worn but go easy on mid century in general. It is great to have you back in my youtube line up.

My apologies, I am a massive mid-century modern fan didn't mean to seem anti haha. There are just a few small things from that period that do not resonate with me or were not made to stand the test of time. ( and yes, that poor Shelby )

Now that we're past the initial build videos, I love how each week is a new adventure! The amazing music being made, the gratuitous wrist watch porn (amazing collection BTW) and of course the projects themselves are a great part of my (our) weekly consumption of social media! Thanks for all this and continuing to produce great content! Oh and just don't get too terribly comfortable with the wild animals, we'd hate to have an update that involves "when animals attack" scene! Stay cautious!

I really dig it cuz I'm a fairly handy person. None of these renovations look too crazy to accomplish. Just time and effort. I would really to spruce my home up. Built in the 1880s still very nice just wanna modernize a bit for the sake of resale value.

I did a similar type of hanging bulb custom light, except with reclaimed cedar fence wood from the edge of my property that dates back to when this area was farmland. The best wood smell I ever experienced was when my garage was filled with wet cedar deck boards.
The wires will straighten out given enough time!

@@boxeclectic A raccoon feeding station made with the rest of the door, complete with his and hers stainless steel mini-sinks (bowls) so they can wash their food, a raised mesh for their food to be presented on, lighting, a series of security cams so they can be live-streamed, with it hooked up to the water supply. There should also be an illuminated sign so they know the opening hours.
I missed the flute. I really needed it in my life and that piece was missing for too long

@@AKeenan5641 definitely. The custom work he did on the van was great. And all milled down from a tree he took down (and the rest went into the pool bar build.
I don't think he's cool with rich anymore. They don't even allow Steveon's posts on his subreddit anymore.
@@HawkXe He had a reply on another comment here where he mentioned the legal system keeping him away from Rich's channel and that time will tell if he goes back. It didn't sound like they are at odds with each other. It sounds like Rich is probably just trying to play it safe and keep his channel out of more trouble til this all blows over.
@@HawkXe from the posts and comments on the tube, sounds like they are fine together, I don't see why a legit accident would destroy a friendship it's not like he did it on purpose and steVON safety is what matters and rich was okay with the test drive with no insurance/registration. Unless steVON was going after for medical bills, but SteVon made comments here that that legal issues have them parted due to ongoing issues with the racecar on the street going what looked like a high rate of speed and he had an ankle bracelet. Rich and SteVON, the way the meshed and their spot on banter, no way they don't have a legit friendship.
Although, very sad if they are not really friends anymore.
EDIT: Also, if they were recording it and after the accedent they quickly deleted any footage to save from any legal issues, and they got caught, thats would be a serious crime for destroying evidence, obstruction of the investigation and some more likely.

Maybe I’m the only one who cares but I’d like to see more detail on how you do the wiring for things like the pendants and the LEDs. For context I like to DIY, but it definitely doesn’t come naturally to me like it does you, Stevon.

You are spot on - Bubinga is absolutely superior to Mahogany, Mr Longbeard. And so very beautiful. Though, it is far less common to be made in a panel door. I was surprised enough to see this door in particular pop up.

Logic Pro it is. I've used it the longest, and my workflow is far more swift with it. Though also enjoy Ableton.
@@boxeclectic fantastic, yes I'm a big Logic fan too although Ableton is my weapon of choice nowadays. I don't know how many of us would be interested in a video on this side of things but count me in, you make some nice beats 👍
