I’ve seen people use a floating subfloor to tile too over the concrete to prevent the tile from cracking as the concrete settles.
That is another very useful method for certain, this particular spot is from the 60’s and with much extreme weather so the majority of settling has usually occurred.

I also have a basement that needs flooring; I’ve noticed spots where someone painted the concrete have flaked off with what looks like evanescence, but I don’t have any major water leak issues.
After weeks of dehumidification, it’s important to run a moisture test with a sheet of plastic sealed to the slab with no light around it and a consistent temperature. If no moisture builds up, you are ready to rock. There are also concrete sealants available to prep, though I would run a moisture test either way to ensure longevity since you definitely don’t want oysters here..
The only yoga worth doing involves goats. Or adult beverages. Either way I need a happy pill after.
