Could careless what online says it's worth...when I pulled series 1 universe holograms back in the day they were priceless...an 2day in my mid 40s there still priceless
Hey i have an uncut impel marvel universe series 1 1991.90 cards in 1 whole page, i recieved as a gift last 1995. I was wondering how i can i find a company to evaluate it. I know its rare uncut 90 cards in 1 big page. I havent seen one in any collectors page or ebay
I came here looking for the value of a 1991 Marvel Spiderman hologram card made by Impel. My card has a printing/cutting error, where the left side of the card is shifted, cutting off the "S" in Spiderman, as well as the Marvel logo and year. The back is correct. I also have a Hulk hologram card from the same set with a similar miscut, but not as bad as the Spiderman.
Here's the thing. That mavin site gives you an average of everything sold on ebay. Regardless of if its graded or not. It's saying my ungraded mike piazza rookie is worth $75, which is most certainly not the case. I still rely on price guides to give me my most accurate common values. If you're thinking "what price guide was made for Marvel cards". Then purchase a Wizard magazine from the early to late 90s. Every book had a section for comic book values, toy values and card values. They may have even printed in the 2000s. Now I know that has nothing to do with today's market. But with condition grading as a thing, it's the only way you will receive any true value from your card. For my money, I'd invest in a price guide for common value.
You should get them cgc certified before you price any of them. Or PSA in order to get a true price you need to know the exact condition you will need a PSA certification to know the actual value
I have some of those. Venom, Morbius, Ghost Rider, Vengeance, Blade, Beta Ray Bill, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, The Hulk, Spider-Woman, Thanos, Magneto, Sabretooth, Puma, Rhino, Kingpin, Mystique, etc.
It was probably a Beckett 10 which is harder to get than a psa 10 or w/e. And it could've been signed too. That Stan Lee from 1990 set is going crazy at beckett 10's.
I have the entire set in M condition and every now and again I'll wander into a collectibles store and ask about their value. Every time so far I've been told they are worthless and not a single store has been willing to take them at any price. All of them generally say the same thing - nothing from the 90's is worth anything because it was an era of wild overproduction of collectibles due to a hot market at the time. In grade 6 or 7 I traded A gold Legend of Zelda Nintendo game for them. I lost money over 30 years.
No! Searching is free. You need an account if you want to save all your searches and track the value of your collection over time. But it's free to search and get pricing information!
