So that very last card the "bonus" 1991 Wolverine that the person messed up adding the sale to Ebay in however many ways... the whole set was what they were selling for $1500 and had supposedly gotten that bid on it, but never received the 15 hundo it sounded like? Is that Wolvie card alone if graded high enough worth that much or even close to it or just the entire set? I've been trying to figure out exactly who/where/when people now and from the last 1-5years of sales I see online have gotten their prices cause there has been some huge freaking variation in some cards. Seen some Xmen/Wolvie cards from 90s go from hundreds up to multiple thousands and back down to where it began or even lower in a few cases from what I assume and mostly was referenced was the economy and that added to the stimulus checks and extra time on the hands of many of the likely aged people thought to likely be doing the collecting on these and other non-sports cards. Which when looking at sales/price graphs of sales of specific cards and/or sets over the time of the last 3-5yrs seems to be almost exactly what has happened in the majority of cases. Goes from whatever "normal" prices we were at fall/winter of 2019 into early 2020, then after a little craziness comes stimulus checks and time off and prices soar for a good year or two from like late 2020 or first half of 2021 lasting into 2022 at what point the pandemic seemed to get a bit under control and people a handle on the "new norm" of everyday life and living along with mostly everyone back to work as normal or at least working under some changes and an end to stimulus and few hits taken by the economy or the general person's spending power, income, and continued raising of all overall costs via inflation and boom the prices of all those soaring high good times cards began dropping fairly substantially if not fairly continuously at least in smaller increments back to where we all began approximately.
I got that Wolvie though and the Sabretooth from the same year/set and also Sabretooth from that brand/set either the year before or after... want to say 91 and 92. Also have multiple Wolvies from the early 90s Xmen Series 2 edition of cards that has art of Wolvie like fighting the Danger Room or other robotic looking stuff , maybe a Cerebro and/or Prof. X summary of the mutant shown on front etc. Seemed like that set had very low values everywhere I found any for sale or that had been sold when in comparison to even just a 1 to 4 maybe 5yr or so period of cards following it up through say Xmen Fleer 94 and 95 sets or also the Xmen Wolverine and Xmen Chromium sets also from the mid to early late half of the 90s. Granted the artwork quality did jump up quite a bit in my opinion, but being a bit older and what I thought seemed to be much shorter supply would help out those older Series 2 cards for the Children of the Atom.

I think that 2014 Emerald Complete purchase was the best value of all these. That set is fantastic. Base/Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby/Diamond, they all look good. But buying the complete set is great because you get two of all the best characters. 2 Wolvies, 2 Spideys, 2 Storms 😉etc. That's the one I like the most anyways

Yeah that one surprised me cause the raws have sold from 320-350 recently. The difference between that 10 and the recent raw sales is massive! Goodluck on the grade if you decide to send!!
@@Swammey yeah and to be honest I was surprised to see those go for so cheap Raw. But I do think that we have to be mindful on our comps, eBay is set up right now everyone just Snipes to get the lowest possible price. Even though they probably bid a lot more than what it went for so it's hard to really put that as the value in my opinion
