  • In this video I'm performing the first break in oil change. Other than that, I'm performing some other basic maintenance while I have it in the garage. This video doesn't cover everything related to the first break in service. I will likely make another video covering the rest. Thanks for watching!

    Yes please, show the entire 50 hr. maintenance video. It’s such an important break in period and seems quite complex. Would totally love to see someone else do it first.

      I should have the second video done in the next week or two with the rest of the break in service . Thanks for watching

    Thank you. It has been 30 years since I have owned a tractor and farmed. I was in the Amy, so I am just getting back into things. Backing up a trailer on my truck was the hardest until I just put it on there and practiced some with my 16 ft trailer. I just have the standard shift 2510. I couldn't get the HST because the pedals are too close and my leg won't bend that far. It is all tore up, 5 knee replacements, 9 operations, and just works kind or weird. The standard shift is just fine though. I am going to put on a rear camera though, because my neck is fused, and I can't see behind me.

      Well the camera should help out with that. I hope the tractor is making things easier for you. Im guessing you meant to say you were in the Army. Thanks for your service.

    Good video, I do all my own maintenance also. My dealer filled the rears on my CK2610 with bio ballast for traction while snowblowing and to offset heavy loads in the loader bucket.

      Ive thought about doing that. Im just nervous about the extra wait tearing up the lawn. Im sure it works great though.

    There is a grease point under the tractor located on the position control lever shaft for the three point hitch. Section 7-22 of the user manual has a illustration of it.

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  2 роки тому +6

      I saw that in the manual, but when I looked for it, it wasn't there. Im guessing they removed it and never updated the manual.

      @stole1980 2 роки тому +8

      @@SpicerDesignsLLC yeah, you have to access it from underneath the tractor. I plan on putting an extension on mine so I can access it by the tool box at the back of the tractor.

    thanks for sharing the video, I just did the 50-hour oil change on my new kioti 7320., my tractor came with 1 air filter, I operate my tractor in a really dusty environment, so I ordered this secondary air filter that fits in the OEM housing.. you might want to do the same its cheap insurance,

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  2 роки тому +6

      Yes, I didn't realize it until I was done filling and it didn't show that option fill point in the manual. But yes you could use the fill on the side instead of crawling under the hood. Thanks for watching!

    Is the orange cap on the side of engine behind loader cylinder above the dipstick also an oil fill?

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  2 роки тому +8

      The orange cap on the side is also an oil fill. it does not reference it at all in the manual. I had to find that online. I was unaware that it was an oil fill so thanks for asking about it. will make it easier for the next oil change. thanks for watching

    I've got 13 acres of woodland. In your opinion is the 2610 tractor enough ?

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  2 роки тому +5

      I would say yes. I recently discovered the 2610 is a detuned 35 hp for emissions. I confirmed that with the dealer. There are a couple videos floating around that show how to retune it to 35hp. Im still researching it but i will make a video when i do it. Hope that helps.

    Looks like a great tractor, mine comes Friday 👍

      I'm really liking the tractor. I had a John Deere 1025r before that I used on an acre and a half. recently built on 10 acres and had to upgrade to something larger. very happy with the Kioti. my plan was to use the 3rd function for snow blade. my driveway is about 1200' long. problem now is i can't find one in stock.
