In this video we mistakenly left out the main hydraulic filter on the right side of the tractor. This filter can be replaced along with the HST filter during the process in the same manner.
You got lucky on that filter. Most are painted on. I used a special wrench and a 3 ft bar. Later someone said to run a razor blade around the filter seal to cut the paint then they will come off easily.
You missed the grease fittings on the bucket attachment levers. Humm what else did ya miss. And I was hoping to hear more about the hydraulic system for one with the manual transmission.
This was a customer unit that was in the shop temporarily so we wouldn't be able to comment on exactly which make/model it was, however in this case what you're looking at there isn't actually a grapple but just a root rake (also called a stacking rake). Similar to this model: www.crystaltractor.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=15119084&p=1&s=(Sort%20By)&d=D&sq=top%20rail&fr=xclearanceinventory
Taking another look, the one in this video was probably one of these: www.crystaltractor.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=15747094&p=1&s=(Sort%20By)&d=D&l=live%20oak&vt=attachment%20%2F%20implement&fr=xclearanceinventory

That’s why we do our own services.
I'd like to have that tech work on my tractor. Seems like a responsible guy.
Brandon installed one other thing in this video;
Confidence.
Thanks guys.
Great video. Thanks. or sharing. I just bought a new one and didn't get the manual.
Glad it helped
Can you use L2501 Filters and Rings for the L2502?

I think you guys forgot the other filter
Is the hydraulic fluid changed? Do HST and Hydraulic system have a common sump?
My book says the transmission filter gets changed at 50. Is that the transmission filter or hydro filter?

What type of grapple are you running on this 2501?

You forgot the main hydraulic filter on the other side
This is a 50 hour change. 50 hour my book says replace transmission filter and doesn't mention the main hydro filter.
6 quarts for a 3 cylinder. 😮
Real mechanics change the copper washers.., just saying 😊
Your rear tire should not be filled with water because of the winter time water freezes. It would be an anti-freezing agent in there.
