Love this cup, love the tutorial, another way you can soften your lines, if you choose, is to use washi tape. Please use safety gear with epoxy, its very dangerous, it may be years before it has effects on your lungs but permanent. Again, thanks for sharing your beautiful tumbler.

I had to make it myself it only comes one layered and I made an offset/outline of it on the Phonto app. I have a video on my page on how to do it!

Its very important for beginners like me all the details. How long you leave in the turn tumbler in the last step?
For the final layer? I let is turn for 4-6 hours and then I’ll just let it fully dry for 24 hours. And I usually, for these turners, just flip it sitting up so the cup is upside down.

Okay yes so I only let it dry for 4-6 hours, depends on the weather, since it’s warming up here only takes about 4 hours now. And then With this turner I’m able to just sit it upright and let it set for - full 24 hours for it to dry completely!
You made this look sooooo easy but I just know it's not! Lol! I definitely want to give it a try though!
Lol it takes practice!!! I binged watched sooo many videos before trying and just took my time making them! I say just jump right in if you want to try making them! I started off with keychains to get use to the epoxy at first, so I wouldn’t be wasting it since it isn’t that cheap!

Are you making pretty good money selling these? I’m going on maternity leave soon and want to do something sort of similar to this to make extra money. Also what websites do you sell on?
I just do it for fun right now and only sell locally and as a side job when I have time, along with doing party favors. But you can definitely make good money off of selling cups! I currently just post my stuff on my Facebook business page whenever I remember 😂 but I pretty much sell word of mouth currently. I would say Etsy and Facebook are great places to start selling until you gain a good clientele then I would make your own business page to avoid all the fees through Etsy. And please make sure you use proper ventilation and Mask and such since epoxy does have dangerous fumes when mixed.

thank for the video after i apply my glitter i spray it with my clear spray, but when i when to apply my epoxy the glitter was still moving
You might have to apply a few more layers of the spray paint. Sometimes I have to do 3-4 thin coats, waiting 30 minutes between coats!

Oh no! Please tell me you're using a respirator and have proper ventilation, especially with kids in the house! Once epoxy is mixed, it becomes dangerous and gives off dangerous fumes, if you don't believe me, please do your own research!
Yes I have and use both! It’s hard to understand with the respirator on, that’s why I’m working on making the rest of my videos actual voice overs.

I keep a cup of water nearby and rinse it off in there and then will just wash it with dawn dish soap and water

I have photoshop 2020, their monthly subscription one. And I just downloaded the yessy font from dafont.com and am able to use it on all of my editing softwares.

I just found a print I liked on google and I used my cricut machine to cut it out!
Cherelle Danae So when you find the designs on google, you just send it to the machine and it prints it out for you? Also, would it be possible for me to use a regular printer to print those designs on vinyl paper and then use a transfer paper to take it off?

It’s under images, if you search cheetah it should pop up around the tenth photo
also how did you get your vinyl in gold and white
I just used two different vinyls. So one is white and one of gold. For the name I did an offset text (adding the extra border around it) I have several videos on how I do this technique. One video on how I do it in photoshop, one on the Phonto app on my phone and one on cricut design space (cricut now has an offset feature)

🔥 How much epoxy u think I would need for a 17 oz. Tumbler?
I usually use the same amount. So I would say 20 oz total, so 10 oz of each, to be in the safe side!

The leopard print it just black vinyl and the name is gold metallic vinyl and black vinyl layered on one another

Yes I let each different layer dry before doing the other color!

A new subscriber here and I wanted to ask how you did the shadow with the Yessy font? I watched vid how to do but don’t know how with the different extra stuff ex. The hearts
For the hearts each capital letter has a heart on the front of it and to add the heart at the end of a word, you have to use this symbol, } , on your keyboard. When you download the font from dafont if you go to the information on the font what show you all the symbols that makes the different hearts! I hope this helps!

How long did you let the paint dry before you could put tape on it without ripping off the paint ?
I only waited a few hours, probably like two max. The spray paint didn't come off but a little of the acrylic gold paint did come up.

I got the font only problem I can’t get the hearts at the end of the text only the beginning. How do you get it?
For the first letter I just use a capital letter, they already are made go have a heart in front of them. The for the heart at the end I used this symbol on my keyboard }
If you go back to the font on dafont.com in the description box it will show you all the different characters on your keyboard that makes different hearts

Usually from mothertumbler.com I also look for clearance ones from Walmart and Walgreens usually has them for buy one get one free so I’ll get some from there as well! And thank you so much!

I actually got it off of amazon. I’ll give you the link, but I just checked and it says they are out of stock so I’m not too sure they’ll be selling it still or what. But honestly just search for a silicone mat, anyone will work since epoxy doesn’t stick to silicone.

I used photoshop for this. I also use Phonto, an app you can use on your phone for free, I hace a video on how to do it on the app!

This came out nice. I don't know if you know this but you can sprinkle the glitter on the spray paint while it's wet. It saves time and sets in good.
